Abandoned and Disused 1983 Tube Stock going for Scrap

London Underground 1983 Tube Stock Driving Motor 3640 is seen being craned out of South Harrow Station after spending 15 Years in South Harrow Sidings.
After being withdrawn from the Jubilee Line and being replaced by the current 1996 stock, nine cars were dumped in South Harrow Sidings; three in 1996 and four in 2000 with intent for future use. Now, fifteen years later, it's time for them to head off to C F Booths of Rotherham for scrap so there are two extra roads in the sidings ready for Night Tube.
