I thought more people knew that this document was in the British archives. I heard about it a few years ago from an audio publication of the Haitian history made by Jean Julien.

Thanks for letting it to be known....on the other hand, Ayiti doesn't have a DECLARATION of independence because we didn't declared/asked for permission. Yet an ACT of independence, because we, children of Ayiti, acted on taking our independence...
