After that TCU game, I'm a huge fan of his. I've watched Holmgren, Jabari Smith, Banchero, and Duren, but Mathurin has got to be my favorite. After studying some more of his game, here's my little analysis: Current Ceiling: Jaylen Brown The dude is a legit athlete. He's strong, a great leaper, and pretty fast. He has all the tools to be a great defender like Jaylen. He's also aggressive on offense, can definitely see him getting up to 24 ppg in his prime. Decent passer, not really a playmaker though. Current Floor: Will Barton I think he's way too athletic to not be at least a serviceable player in the league. He may not become the spot up shooter that Barton is, while he has good form and lift on his jumpshot and hit some big shots in the tournament this year, he didn't absolutely floor me with his shooting. Also he could easily just be reduced to a solid bench piece or an average starter if he doesn't improve his shooting like that, again, not a bad shooter but definitely room for improvement. Also how did you get C for rebounding and passing. He's avg 6 rebounds at SG. That elite territory for a guard. Please watch more games and not highlights. Watch the TCU game again. The offensive rebounds he made pretty much sealed the game. Your scouting report is lacking bro.
