- Seeing someone so young with such a passion for water features really warms my heart. Today I'm visiting 17 year old Logan, an employee of David's, and his lovely backyard pond filled with koi!

You guys are on fire! Like the Chick-fil-A of pond builders! If I wasn't a licensed psychotherapist I can see myself getting so much satisfaction being a pond Builder. Especially with passionate hard workers like y'all! ❤️
Ha! You would be surprised how many pond builders have degrees that have nothing to do with ponds... For instance, I have a BFA in ceramics...

If and when I’m able to invest in a pond I’ll need a nice comfortable place where I can lie down and relax to watch the fish. I’ll also need a viewing window so I can have that underwater vantage point. Turtles and Koi for me thank you. 🐢🐟

Seeing the big pond made me want to skip rocks. Maybe a lazy river for floating. The big tree could be an island With a hidden, open deck up in its branches ? And a waterfall that is a slide that dumps you in pool for swimming or rock skippin'!🏝......
He really keeps a pond for his koi instead of swimming but I will pass on the idea!

How deep is the pond
It’s about 6ft deep at the deepest part and around 2ft-2&1/2 at it’s shallowest
I want Brian to talk about having a perimeter of small rocks vs using some nice large rocks lol. To be fair, its something you can save money on to start and upgrade to without tearing out your whole pond. Cant skimp on the waterfall rocks tho
We think the rocks in the original pond were smaller because a home owner built it by hand. We came in and were able to clean it up and add visual interest with the falls and stream. Thanks for watching!
