I think the Garden stage shows that the nobleman's garden is now open to all to enjoy and Jimin, unlike the nobleman and Jin, is being open about his feelings and actually communicating them, I think the cartoonish staging is kind of folktale/fairytale like.
In the BU, "SMERALDO" is said to have the meaning of "THE TRUTH UNTOLD" or, "The Truth I Cannot Tell" and is the story behind the lyrics of BTS' beautiful TTU song. The nobleman was too afraid to reveal himself to the girl taking flowers from his garden, and Jin was too insecure to meet the girl that dropped the red diary (a prop in EPIPHANY mv) until he could fulfill the wish she expressed in the diary for SMERALDO flowers.
SMERALDO flowers show up in various BTS mv props, like the one Jin is trying to protect at the beginning of FAKE LOVE, (and the blowing away petals later that JK releases) and the one that Taehyung holds up to the masks in the SINGULARITY mv.

Very strong consensus out there that this MV was recorded with live singing - and it sure sounds like it - another string to his bow. Love the song - such a funky retro vibe about it - and there really is a strong call back to Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club too. And if we convert Smeraldo to what it symbolizes, then we have the Truth Untold Band - love it.
I agree with you about their output. I became ARMY in 2020 after discovering them on TH-cam. I opened a radio station on Pandora and chose artist only. I could listen for 6-8 hours and barely hear any repeats. Their discography is huge and there’s not a bad song in the entirety. I became so amazed and awed at their musical talents, then topped by their dance routines, and also their programs, photos, modeling, etc. all this, and they all studied and received college degrees all while they worked and danced in rehearsals. These guys are so gifted and driven. And then they all have such great visuals-Bonus! Are these guys even human? I really love and admire these guys. They are truly exceptional! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This song made me so happy. Just enough retro and rap, great live singing, not too complicated, not trying too hard, playful. Looks happy singing, that was enough to warm my Army heart. I was worried that it would be like " set me free" (it wasnt to my taste at all). But i listen to Like Crazy every day.

If you listen to the music video and then listen to it on spotify there is a difference in the effect on his voice. The MV gives it that effect with a sort of retro static sound, where his voice on the Spotify one is very clean and more just his voice, no effect. Jimin just being the typical legend that he is. ❤

✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. According to billboard, article, the seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.)
Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks.
The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.”
Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart.
Jimin is still in the midst of his 18-month mandatory South Korean military service, which he began in December; bandmate Jin recently became the first member of BTS to finish his military service.🙏👍❤🔥🔥🐥😍💥🌟💫✨

I just had a thought during the group scene with the confetti raining down. I was not Army during the pandemic/quarantine era so I wasn’t able to experience the first hand joy when Dynamite, Butter, and PTD were released. I know they were kind of meant to boost Army’s spirits during that time of isolation. This song/mv was giving me similar vibes. The joy and cheer that Jimin was expressing seemed like the his way of boosting Army’s spirits during this enlistment time.

Thank you for this reaction, John! This is such a delightful song and, like you said, so very Jimin. I think BigHit have a ton of stuff from the members stacked and all set to go at the appointed time. Taehyung's photobook just dropped as well. Totally agree, shout out to the members and ARMY but let us also recognise the hard work of BTS' creative team who are involved in the production and all supporting activities to make their creations a reality. A few more songs from "Muse" to look forward to.

I was actually thinking the same thing, that many army has now mentioned, in reference to the Beatles album. For me, an excellent clue already happened in the vid: “A Day with Jimin in NYC by vogue, (perhaps you might want to watch it), which was basically a behind the scene, filmed during the time Jimin debuted “Like Crazy” on Fallon show! It showed Jimin, before going to a dance practice, rehearsing Like Crazy for Fallon tonight show, going to a record store, along with producer Pdogg who not only worked along side of Jimin throughout both albums FACE & MUSE, where Jimin pulled out that very record by the Beatles Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album! It seemed at the time a bit out of place, sort of unexpected? Now I wonder if it was planted there? I would think that that album might be highly collectible and not amongst a pile of records. But who knows? The background, as many have also mentioned, does also have a teletubbies feel about it! 🤔🧐😅👍❤🔥😍

It's an official track video rather than an mv as Jimin and Loco were actually performing during it, thus the use of mic, in ears and quieter backing track vocals while he danced more 💜
