This is super helpful, actually. I let fear control me a lot and this encouraged me to just do something today. I had a conversation recently about being authentic and how challenging that can be in the face of fear. Even seemingly tiny things can become really difficult. So kudos to you! 🎉
Hey George, thank you for sharing your experience on mediation! One thing that confuses me is why you would pressure yourself to post everyday. To me, that seems like an imperative coming from the outside, the need to perform, rather than genuine motivation. Fear, in my experience, is always the sign of something else, something waiting to be understood, deciphered, rather than pushed away. Just some thoughts. Gassho - Leo
Also, I don’t think I would call it pressure…Maybe cultivating discipline is the better word? Again, I think decoupling this from “posting”/social media is important, as the underlying message isn’t really about posting/social media
I appreciate your comment, as it’s helping me get clear on the meaning behind my words, and encouraging me to be clear and concise with my word choice. Thank you friend 🙏🏼

I think “Show up” is the better word here….rather than “post,” which comes with a lot of baggage
So when I’m talking about posting everyday, I think it just happens to be one (of infinite) ways there are to “show up”
Also, I don’t think I would call it pressure…Maybe cultivating discipline is the better word?
Again, I think decoupling this from “posting”/social media is important, as the underlying message isn’t really about posting/social media

Thank you for taking the time to read my comment and to formulate a reply. The idea of showing up in spite of fear certainly resonates with me.
