Why is Pachacamac Appearing in the Knuckles TV Series?

- The trailer for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Paramount Plus series, "Knuckles", has a split-second cameo of an obscure character from the Sonic video games. Pachacamac, A.K.A. the chief of The Knuckles Clan, and the father of Tikal the Echidna. Even though he made a low-key appearance in the first Sonic film, Pachacamac's presence in "Knuckles" has HUGE implications for the future of the Sonic cinematic universe.

Maybe this isn't a vision, but a manifestation which could explain his age, or his soul even and takes a "physical" form to "guide" Knuckles but in the end deceives him and Tikal's spirit comes to whoop her bad dad's spikey butt.
Truth be told, I actually missed Pachacamac the first time I saw that trailer.
But if he IS alive, he's probably just acting jovial to Knuckles so that he can get him to cough the Master Emerald's (and Sonic's) location.
I really enjoy your Sonic Movie analysis and breakdown videos. You should do that more. You're very thoughtful and insightful on the characters, the stories, theories and lore and how things make this.

If he is alive; what if he was the only survivor of the Longclaw attack, fled to earth with Tikal, and settled down to a normal life among the humans, somehow avoiding government detection? But instead of being after the master emerald, he's repentant after seeing his whole tribe wiped out before his eyes?

How are we supposed to make theories of Pachacamac being the one that shot Longclaw? when all of the echidnas look pretty much the same, except for Tikal.
Because as I showed, the echidna who shot Longclaw has the same paint markings on his mask as those on Pachacamac’s forehead. Tyson Hesse even confirmed this.

Pach ain't just a vision, and nor is he real. He's a ghost. A very chill ghost. Lol
There are people that theorize that this is some sort of dream sequence. MAYBE. But even if it is, it should still have narrative importance, and I'm pretty sure that given who is voicing him, it will.
i can see tikal being another employee with pachamac. like a trainee or smth.
I am also wondering why was pachacamac was in the knuckles show but I hope is a flash back
I think it's just to get people to talk about the show.
If he is still alive then it dosent look to good for knuckles and sonics relationship since pachacamac is a echidna and if pachacamac saw sonic there will be beef between hedgehog and echidna since pachacamac shot down longclaw and was him who even sent his tribe to kill her
Or mabey if sonic and pachacamac do meet pachacamac could tell sonic what happend to longclaw mabey she's not dead but we do not know what happened of screen to here on the other side of the ring portal
