Battery also may explode during operation. So be careful about the reaction as we call it the chemical reaction?

Sure any experiment done your safety comes first, I ensured during charging process I was on an open place and removed all the caps

No. The chloride in it will definitely cause the battery to fail. Use either epsom salt or potassium alum as the salts to recover the battery. The K+ and Mg2+ ions just make the electrolyte more conductive and helps make the sulfate deposit from discharge more porus on the negative plate ❤

I had first drained all the electrolyte in the battery before doing anything else

Well, it probably would only last.Maybe 3 hours. Are we looking at maybe starting a car with it or just small experiments?

The one I retrieved worked for 3.7hrs on average before completely draining up

How long will the battery now last with a sodium chloride electrolyte? How does it compare to an original battery with it's acid electrolyte? Charge density comparison?

The purpose is to extend it's usage time, the electrolyte will give you 4-5 hours from that dead battery which can stand to about 50% remember the battery was at 1v and couldn't be used to power any device but afterwards we have a couple of hours to use it, discharge time and density will be slightly affected but overall results out do the change

❤ thanks but is it the same as with a calcium type battery!🇿🇼✌️👋

For the calcium battery maybe different not unless I pick one dead calcium battery and look on how I can retrieved it back then share

The water must be gone and the acid is still in the battedry. So I didn't see any acid being drained out.Nor did I see other than you?Just putting salt water in your battery

The process gives the cells a duration to serve you you can add water to clean up and then add the electrolyte
