I recommend a temp company. They hook you up with companies that are looking for workers so you don't have to look around for hours. It's a great way to get experienced with all kinds of jobs and it's what helped me find my carrier. The contracts tend to be from 6 moths to a year and afterwards you can ask the people there to hire you permanently or just move on to the next gig.
You’ve got to grow up, man. Saying you’re too good for McDonald’s but no other job will hire you is the problem. In 2019, I was a fresh high school dropout with a kid on the way, working a dead-end job. I got my GED, worked hard, and now I’m in database and server administration with no degree. I even get job offers while working. You need to pick a real skill and focus. A capture card for gameplay videos won’t get you anywhere, and you probably know that.
True ;/ this guys thought that same way I do surprisingly cause I’ve applied to everywhere except fast food cause I absolutely dread customer service cause of rude people in the past and I’m introverted so my social battery runs out fast and well… I’m socially drained. But I’m also in school rn to get into IT work, entry level help desk to eventually something higher like system admin, or what you’re doing. How’d you learn IT with no degree and did they teach a lot in your first entry level position?
