My kids heard me play this song when they were babies, now they are grown, and their kids listens to it. Sam Cooke was just that great. Sam Cooke,s songs will last forever.
Well Erika Hetherington - thank you very much for sharing it is an awesome song & off course love the voice of SAM COOKE - imagine if he had of lived to an older age, what music we may have heard? 💖💖💖👌👌👌
One of my favorite Sam Cooke songs. His only one that had a country twang, I think. I used to have the 45, and played it to death. Even though I hadn't heard it in 30-40 years, I was able to sing along. Thanks!

this is incredible - I don't think people realize how effing cool this is. You can 't find this anywhere but on the Original 45 single with Cousin of mine. I have no Idea why - this shoulda been on the retrospectives. It's a fascinating song - the country flavor is astonishing. This song sounds as creepy and haunting and beautiful as Keep Moving On. It's a children's melody. This complements the Riddle Song. Whatta cool find. I gotta get a record player so I can listen to the 45.
I'm glad you like it. I also posted another song sung by Sam Cooke that I'm sure not many have heard him sing and that's Twistin In The Kitchen. I hope I can post more.
