- The *Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS)* is an initiative by the *National Statistical Office (NSO)* of India to provide comprehensive and timely data on employment and unemployment trends in the country. Launched in *April 2017**, it replaced the older **Employment-Unemployment Surveys (EUS)* conducted by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO).
