Incredibly atmospheric video, I can feel through your summary what an enormous experiece it must be to fulfill a camino. Now I'm really interested to walk a camino myself!
Congratulations! You not only presented your experience so genuinely that gave me goosebumps, but I saw you are also a truly connoisseur of Galician gastronomy, being food such an important part of our culture: empanada, tortilla de Betanzos, polbo á feira, cocido, churrasco, Estrella Galicia, augardente... you got it all! :D
Hi David, another inspiring video that makes me think to do another walk from Ferrol to Finesterre. Just to let you know that your first Camino YT has inspired me to walk Camino Frances in 2022. We just return this October from walking Camino Portuguese as well. Keep inspiring David! Looking forward to other hiking adventures
@@hidavidwen the perfect combination of music and image, with every shot being considered equally important, not only presenting the best landscapes and meals, but also the people walking, sweating and enjoying a cold beer at the end of a walk. And not speech in the video is cool, too many videos with too many words, speaking in videos is not necessary if you have a story already in the shots.
thanks for not blabbering on throughout the video. very relaxing. leaves lots of space to share in a little bit of the experience and the atmosphere. 🌻
I had followed your Portuguese Camino and was glad to find this. I'm curious about the many Camino routes so this was a treat to check out. Nafdine Walks is another channel to check out various other Caminos. Cheers and adventure on!
Thanks for the kind words and for watching =) I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Camino Ingles. And thanks for the recommendation, I've seen a bunch of her walks-inspiring too! I am already thinking about another camino next year =) Cheers and buen camino David
Well done David. Congrats on another successful Camino. Will experience Camino Ingles come March 2024. Yes, do the Primitivo next year. Thanks for sharing your journey. Buen Camino!
Thank you for sharing another wonderful Camino video! Your previous videos were inspirational in motivating me to do the Camino Portugues this past April. This video has me craving to go for another walk.
You're welcome and thanks a lot for the kind words. I'm very inspired to hear about your Camino Portugues too :) And I hope you make it to another Camino one day...wherever and whenever it is :) Buen camino!
Beautiful video! It literally gave me tears. We did the Portuguese last year from Vigo to Santiago and are doing the Ingles next April. I really want to continue to Finesterre...this may have convinced me! Beautiful!
Thanks and nice to hear you've also walked! It's getting busier (Santiago and the pilgrims)...but still an amazing experience...to just walk, walk, and walk!
@chrisodell2585, Galicia is such a beautiful country.
Thanks! Hm, I am not a medical expert...but I cycle a lot here in the Netherlands...and I walk a lot in general. So I'm training every day in a way. But I find the best training is just staying active-whatever that means for you. And lots of walking...at your own pace and adding smaller distances each time...and then eventually taking your backpack with you. Baby steps and you'll get there!
Thanks, it is beautiful! I brought a selfie stick...I used to bring my DSLR camera + tripod...but I stopped doing that because it was too heavy. Smartphone camera is enough...which is what I used to film this
Grazie David!
Thank you David very much for this splendid video 😍 My only wish is that it would have been longer... How many caminos have you walked? Portuguese in 2022, and now Inglese.
You're welcome Paula and thanks for the kind words! I've now done: - Camino Frances (2018, St Jean > Santiago) - Camino Portugues (2022, Porto > Santiago) - Camino Ingles (2023, Ferrol > Santiago) I want to do the Camino Primitivo next! (Maybe next year)
What did you think of the route itself? I'm trying to decide which 'Camino' route to do and this Camino Ingles is the shortest of the bunch (easier for me to get this kind of time of work). But is the route itself filled with lots to see? Vistas etc etc? Thanks for a wonderful video btw.
