Hi Merv, great video. I can't believe how bad those knock-offs are. I know good figures are not cheap, bit you get what you pay for. Thanks or sharing. See you next time,
Thanks Jeff, yes I was horrified when I first took them out of the bag and compared them with the actual bravo-six Figures. It's a good thing I can't paint very well because I would sure hate to waste good paint on figures that weren't molded completely.
yeah Resin is by farr my favorite form of hobby making, that and polyvinyl. I like styrene too but they are very fragile and small. vinyl has unbreakable properties in that type of plastic. Resin kits i use to decorate some types of furniture in my apartment lol.
Darkness, you are a sick sick individual. I love it! Resin is not my favorite because superglue is certainly not my favorite I have a tendency to Super Glue parts of my body together some that would even surprise you. However I have to do a lot of things in resin simply to get what I need modeled. Speaking of which I just ordered a 1/350 scale USS Oklahoma. A $300 ship model. Almost all of it is resin with some photo etch thrown in for good measure. I think I'm going to need a fifth of Jack Daniels just to start building it and I should probably stay away from sharp objects so I don't wind-up lacerating a wrist in frustration. LOL thank you for watching and I appreciate your comments. Please keep them coming I enjoy our interactions
@@maddogmerv Ehhhh i only almost superglued my body once wen the resin kit was really Big and the resin was really old so it was harder to stick, n no i only lacerated a finger a little with my exacto knife once only caz i was not being carefull. Sounds like u got a good project on the way Mad Dog.
Nice job mate , I’m very fussy when it comes to buying resin figures myself these days , very hard to trust sellers on eBay
