    Great breakdown, I’m a big Rafa forehand fan myself, all that spin in crazy 😳

      Agreed. Carlos is playing great tennis and hits incredible lasers with his forehand but I still prefer Rafa's.

    Great analysis as always. Alcaraz definitely to me looks technique wise a lot like Fed and Nadal. Great point about how Nadal has tweaked his forehand, as you pointed out, elbow a bit lower in order to get his racquet tip upright in preparation, in order to shorten his racquet work to give himself more time. I personally do not think the next gen racquet tip facing forward really adds any racquet head speed, but these Alcaraz Sock Kyrgios Sinner forehands are something.

    Can you pls do Tomas Etcheverry…. It appears to be his forehand is simple and old school style.. Nice Video

    Hey Jason, great video as always. I know you do a lot of singles analysis, but I was wondering if you could do some doubles?

    Do you prefer Delpo's or Ferrer's backswing forehand for today's game¿?

  • @sebastiansantos5561

    In which forehand backswing you can find more consistency with less mistakes in Alcaras or Nadal's? and why

    Now that you've seen the comparison between the two, who's forehand do you prefer? Do you think Alcaraz will change his forehand technique like Rafa did over the years?

      It takes a genius to hit like Nadal. Alcaraz's forehand is more replicable for normies. If Alcaraz does not change his forehand technique over the years, he will be out of the game.

      @@nickyb12345 I feel that the way nadal hits his forehand, his timing, his stamina and spin is not replicable by anyone. We have not seen baby nadal yet.
      Alcaraz's forehand has been replicated. th-cam.com/video/mIS-3CgHH5w/w-d-xo.html
      Big 3 has changed their forehand throughout the years to stay on top of the competition. It's impossible to stay on top without adapting and changing

      I think Alcaraz's forehand could be the greatest forehand we've ever seen in the future but I think at the mo, Rafa gets,the nod with his forehand as it is so devastating.
      And yes I think Carlos will tweak his forehand over the years so he can get more out of it.
      Even Feds forehand has changed over the years.
      The very best always keep improving and that's why they are the best.

      I did Alcaraz forehand and gave to much shoulder, wrist, and back problems because of that inverted raquet; it hurts me a lot so I change at hows Rafa does that is a more natural raquet position; any suggest

      Thank you. I'll make a "short" on their forehand grips. Thanks for watching.

    Alcaraz forehand resembles Federer more than Nadal.

    • @TennisUnleashed
      @TennisUnleashed  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There are definitely things in common between Fed and Alcaraz. This was more of a Spanish champion vs Spanish rising star comparison. Thanks for watching.

      @@TennisUnleashed Agree. he is compared most to Nadal because of his spanish roots but technically more similar to Federer

    • @sebastiansantos5561
      @sebastiansantos5561 ปีที่แล้ว

      It dosen't resemble to any of the both cause Alcaraz use an inverted forehand backswing and Nadal either Federer use the tip of the raquet up in their backswing; Alcaraz is more close to Djokovic that use either an inverted raquet backswing in his forehand

  • @tomk5238
    @tomk5238 ปีที่แล้ว

    Alacraz gets thru the swing faster because his racquet swing weight is like 322.
    Nadals swing weight is like 370. This means Alcaraz has to swing alot faster to make up for that power.

      @@TennisUnleashed either Rafa's cause the take back is more simple and cause less injuries because of the inverted raquet of Alcaraz backswing. And which one do you prefer betwen Rafa's and Kyrgios for the actual game¿?
