You know the “spectacular move” against magic’s Lakers in the finals, it was Jordan’s 13th consecutive basket

MJ would average 50+ in today's era. No question.
edit: One of his inspirations is another legend, Larry Bird. Aka Larry Legend. You can see it in the gameplay, but Jordan was also an athletic freak of nature. Dude's an alien.

      @pc2555 16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

I'm not a regular NBA watcher at all but got into watching the legends and highlights; the two main things I hear that jordan took from bird is the insane drive to win (which he did already have naturally) and how to talk trash and get into your opponent's minds. Bird, Jordan and Kobe are the only 3 that seem to have had that superhuman drive to win. Bird somehow played through a broken back on top of other injuries and still somehow was a top performer at the end of his career.

Yeah, Jordan and Bird both would dominate in today's game...

When “inspirations don’t add up,” it’s called Originality. MJ is the inspiration for all that’s followed him.
Michael Jordan’s inspiration was the textbook and any challenge thrown his way. He is the most fundamentally sound player the NBA has ever witnessed. Jordan got better the more he was challenged, his offense and defense ramped the longer any game went on, then he would break records during the playoffs.

Larry Bird made everyone look dumb, Jordan made everyone look slow, and Magic Johnson made the game look good.
As for finishers, Kyrie is good, but I say Allen Iverson was better. Iverson had the same speed, same ball handling, but could also dunk. It took both Kobe and Shaq to beat AI in the Finals. Also....got put Vince Carter in there for best finishers... "The Dunk of Death"

Jordans rookie season numbers are the same as Kobe's MVP season numbers 🤯
He's the only player in the history of the game to win dpoy mvp and the scoring title in the same year He that averaging 35ppg😮🤯

Hey great reaction, props for doing your research! Keep going.... Also when it comes to best finishers in the NBA, in particular below the rim Kyrie of course is fantastic and he's always in that top 1-3. But as good as Kyrie is the one thing that you'll want to take into consideration is that he dosent have MJs hands, meaning the dosent have the physical hand size attribute that MJ has to maintain control of the ball especially when you take into account the level of contact that was in MJs era. Not a knock on Kyrie, buy you cant make up for that physical advantage that MJ clearly has. Its the same reason he's able to attack the rim/ above the rim cause of the control he had on the ball and guys not being able to just strip him or knock it out of his hands when he's in the air. Anyways great reaction, have a blessed week!

David Thompson played college in North Carolina and was a terrific dunker. Dr.J was most popular player for most younger basketball fans in the late 70’s I have heard. I was born in ‘76 so I really have only seen them on highlights but heard that neither were excellent, consistent shooters. Jordan had exceptional footwork like Kobe. Dr. J and Thompson did not. From what I saw.

Thompson scored 71, so don't think for a second he couldn't shoot & The Doctah changed the game with his high flying act posterizing everyone & anyone who got in his way.

No one haa ever lived up to the standards of MJ or Larry Bird. They are the 2 true GOATS...
And honestly, I think the NBA has Devolved since Jordan's era. It's not the team sport it used to be and it's ridiculously soft. You had to be physically and mentally tough to play pre 2000s. And, although the players may be "bigger and stonger" now, it doesn't mean they're tougher.... not by a long shot..
Good reaction young man. Keep digging the Jordan legacy is huge
You should really check out Larry Bird as well. His ultimate mixtape and Greatest passer video. His trash talk videos are worth a watch too. They really show just how dominate he was... They call him Larry Legend for a reason 🎉🎉

Chucking up 3’s ,not playing defense, traveling and flopping doesn’t count as evolving. The nba is not a good product right now. It’s the reason ratings are so low young man

Mj is a mix of walter davis ,david thompson and julius erving not only that he also got some from is older brother who was basically a mj that was short mj got the freak dna and he mainly wanted to surpass magic and Larry so he got some things from them two but mj still did things in his own way as well he had no fear and would do or try any crazy thing to win a game
