Hi! We are going to stay at the JW Cabo in February 2025. Any tips on renting a car and parking when you went out in town for dinners?
Hello! Parking wasn't really too much of an issue when you went into town and the signs were pretty easy to follow. We always use AutoSlash to get our rental cars. One nuance with renting a car in Mexico is they require liability insure so usually we have to argue that our credit card covers that but up to you on how you want to handle it.

Thank you so much! That is correct. If you have Marriott Platinum or Titanium status you do receive free breakfast, but otherwise nothing is included.
Did you have any issues with the AC during your visit? I’d like to sleep in a very cold room and I read some reviews saying that the AC wasn’t always able to cool the room very much.
Hi there! We had no issues with AC at all honestly and the rooms were super nice and seemed new. They were a highlight!

Oh you are going to love it! A few quick things come to mind:
- Food was understandably pricey at the resort, but we went into town one per day for a meal and that was a great balance for us. That can be combined with a visit to the grocery store (Walmart) on the way in. All of that, of course, is if you have a car.
- Definitely keep your eyes on the ocean as we saw humpback whales many times throughout our stay. We were there in late-December.
- There were A LOT of classes centered around food and drinks so I would definitely recommend partaking in those. They were fun to participate in and also nice to get some freebies.
- Pools became a bit crowded after 10 am and a lot of people would just throw towels on seats to reserve them. If you want a prime spot, you may want to arrive early, but otherwise there are a lot of various seating options so you should be okay. We were there at a pretty crowded time.

@@StNickTravels we own a time share at Cabo Azul down the road. Does Marriott allow visitors on property to eat at their venues. We're a silver member?
I believe that they do allow anyone to come in for dining just not 100% on that. Lucky you all to have a place in Cabo! Beautiful area!
How did you guys get from the hotel to the town to eat?
We actually rented a car! The city and hotel area are very easy to navigate and the car rental was quite affordable. No fee for parking either!
Did it feel safe? Do you get vegetarian food?
@@vijayjayaraman5990 Yes, completely safe! We ate in town, but there are certain vegetarian and other options at the resort. They are great at accommodating!
