Quick tip: the venerable “automotive diagnostics and programming” just released a video where a pentastar would have misfires because a crankshaft relearned needed to be done. Check it out if you have time. Also to confirm the cylinder identification are accurate, purposefully induce a misfire on each cylinder to make sure the ecm is correctly identifying the cylinder.
Hey man i have a question about one of your previous videos, i have a 2015 vw Passat 1.8l that recently had a timing belt issue and i have been dealing with this for 2months a no mechanic can figure it out, i took it to a mechanic right now and i bought the entire timing belt kit, however now he tells me that it needs a new Harmonic Balancer pully cause the groves a little brushed off, im not sure if thats the issue, but when its on it wobbles, on the dashboard it says low oil light on, i have further details, i need some urgent help i dont know what to do with this car anymore.
aww man, this one is a tough one. being so intermittent is what makes it so hard. if you arent already done with it, this will take lots of time to get right, intermittents always do. will be watching closely for the outcome. don't get lost down the many rabbit holes, follow the data, follow what you know and play the most likely card. good luck bud.
Having this problem, only p0301 CEL randomly comes and goes. Drives fine until at idle for 30 secs to 2 mins same for park, Then engine light starts blinking and misfire starts. When i restart the car, the light goes away and so does the misfire. If i keep driving…
You're correct... this time I used a solvent.. the Bermans cleaner. We will see how effective it is. But trying water isn't a bad idea. Next one I get ill try this

If i keep driving at any speed the car will not misfire unless i am at a left turn for more than 2 mins or a red light for 2 mins..
It looks like enough to keep it from closing all the way
You could drop a drop of water and ping the carbon 2 much water you can destroy it I'm just say you. COULD not smart but it will clean them
