A moving film, one that reminds us to take every day and every breath with gratitude and thought. I can't imagine one day doing the regular and then suddenly being transported to the hospital. It is frightening to think our bodies are so fragile but there's a certain bliss in that. That while not everyone is lucky, knowing that just as our bodies and the disease that afflicts us have a duration-so does too the challenge itself. Although it sadly might not be the last time he'll have to go to the hospital, the hope is that in a way he'll be able to live a more sacred life with his family. The old man at the elevator could very well represent Cedrick in the future but hopefully not, especially given that this is based on a true story.
