[4K] F-35A Full Afterburner Steep Climb at Leeuwarden AB (EHLW)

- Due to bird-status critical the F-35's kicked-in their Afterburners to make a steep climb at Leeuwarden Air Base.
The ringing Bell you hear is a traffic warning bell along the road on the airbase wich crosses the runway. So it's a traffic safety warning when there is flying traffic on the runway the traffic may not cross the runway. You can notice it at 1:02 shortly in the video. Annoying yes stupid no.

Yes that's true in this case while using the AB the noice production is more centered then spreading in the wide area. Bedankt voor je reactie en geniet van het weekend.😊👍
I work for P&W building & testing international Variant F135 engines and I must say….. gonna miss the sound of the old F100 fuel-draulics on the 16’s. Your videos are top notch my friend.

Those are pneumatic actuators on the F100s. The F-35 uses fuel-draulics.

Ik ben donderdag voor het eerst wezen spotten. Ik hoor vaker F16's over komen. Maar ik hoorde toen de F35 in het echt voor het eerst. Ik dacht aan maar twee woorden toen ik de f35 hoorde: Pure kracht.

Ja je ging je camera testen meende ik? Ging het goed?
@@32tfs Yes, aan het begin had ik veel wazige fotos ertussen en had ik niet de juiste instellingen. Echter heb ik snel geleerd(denk ik) wat ik moest doen en zijn er aan het einde van de dag hele mooie fotos en filmpjes uitgekomen. Het filmen is alleen jammer dat ik 720p 50fps en 1080p 25fps heb.
Maar voor de rest is het mooie kwaliteit van de canon 2000d met 55-250mm lens.
Ik heb al drie fotos op mijn instagram account geplaatst van donderdag @highfalcons.
Ik ben benieuwd zal eens kijken.
Lekker hoor dat geweld. Die lieten je broekspijpen wel even doen wapperen denk ik zo :)

Heb ze gehoord vorige week en als het goed is vandaag ook weer. Woon en werk op de vlieg route van de luchtbasis. Machtig mooi geluid maar kon de vliegtuigen vandaag niet spotten jammer genoeg. Was nogal slecht weer toen ik ze hoorde overvliegen.

Normaly they fly from monday till friday, 2 times a day.

Well there is WIC going on (Weapons instructor course) with F-16's till now they fly from 09:00-10:30 and 13:15-15:00. The F-35 some later times from 10:30-12:00 and 14:30-16:00. This can be changed by the weeks.
