Next is Hellraiser: Judgement! The Hellraiser film that was written and directed by a man who tried (and Failed) to Kickstarter a movie (called Judgement). So when he was given money to make a new Hellraiser movie, he just made Judgement, and put Pinhead in it! That makes it a Hellraiser movie, honest!
Me and my cousin (who I have to thank for introducing me to Clive Barker’s writing) watched Judgement together and we weren’t impressed. Then again, we weren’t expecting much.

Yeah the original Hellraiser was great. In fact I actually find it unique among a lot of horror movies for the use of its main monster character where essentially he is a force of nature rather than an actual antagonist, with the main villain role going to the human he is stalking in the film (who along with his girlfriend are indeed irredeemable characters).
yep, that's why i like hellraiser. the cenobites were intelligent beings who maintained order, albeit in a brutal manner. it was frank who was the monster. i don't think they killed a single person who didn't open the box with their desires in the first movie.
