Happy birthday Bob. So glad to see this video went live! I just wanted to add one thing - For the custom voice from #1 to #5, the only differences are how much training time each of them used. Theoretically, the more training time the model used, the more it will sounds like you. But in many cases, it hard to tell the difference because at the beginning the model has already been cooked well. And in the "Blend voice" page, you can blend your custom voice with other voice models to create an unique voice sounds a little bit different with the original you :)
Thank you!! Hardly anyone is talking about this software, and NOBODY is talking about the new train your own voice feature. I think your trained voice 3 does sound the best. Synth V better get on the ball quick 😂
Hey Bob; On your good advice I went to sign up for the advanced tier of Ace Studio (the $22. per month plan) and was surprised to see that this required a one year commitment. It's not the end of the world for me but I do see a great deal of resistance to this in the general public with other providers actually using this point as an angle to siphon the business for themselves with their monthly offerings. As you know this sort of thing is generally offered on a monthly basis with the discounted annual plan as an incentive go all in. I may hold off for now not only for this reason but for the fact that I can't seem to find a traditional sounding female voice that would work for this project. There is a link to "Check all Voices" but this link simply takes me to the signup page suggesting that if I want to hear the full list I have commit to the subscription first. There may very well have a suitable voice but I won't know unless I subscribe. They ought to rethink that one. I realize that they offer a money back guarantee. But still...
Looks great, I was especially excited to be able to change words that went wrong in some of the Suno and Udio songs... I know just have to save up to be able to afford the free trial. lol
Hey Bob; Is there a link to a video or website that has a simple demo of ALL available voice in ACE STUDIO? It would be great to be able to simply click through the various voices to see if they have one that I feel confident will work for the project I am presently working on before committing. Please let us know, if you would be so kind. I am very eager to get on board with ACE but would like to learn more first as indicated... and thanks for all of the great work you do to help us all out!
While they do offer a sampling of some of them on their front page if you scroll down, I do not see a link to them all. That's a logical request, and I'll pass it along and see if there is a way to preview them all. The newer ones are especially impressive.
@BobDoyleMedia Thanks, Bob. Once again, I'm always impressed by your presentations and appreciative of the knowledge and experience you share. Best success in all of your Internet ventures and a happy, healthy New Year to you and yours.

I really love it. I'm wondering however: it seems this is a DAW on it's own? So can you also input your own guitar accompaniment if you're a guitar player but can't sing? Or if you wanted to do something like that would you import it to RipX? Or for both cases would you just export what they do and import the files into a standard DAW like GarageBand, Ableton, etc.
@@yutu3327 just to be clear and make the distinction, the custom voice used to be almost a $300 charge on top of the subscription. I definitely understand that people do not like this subscription model and I hear you. But if you are a working musician in a studio and you are producing things all the time and this solves the problem of singers, then it’s well worth $40 a month. Also, just curious, what was the source music of your stem separation. I only ask because any AI generated music is not going to sound good, so I’m just curious if you used a regular cut.
@@BobDoyleMedia Their subscription used to be around $12 a month earlier in which there was no custom voice. Now it's $44/month and so increase of $32 per month. Which comes to 32*12= $384 per year. Earlier the custom voice was one time charge, now it's bundled in subscription. So in a way it was cheaper earlier. But that's alright if we can test it first. The problem is they don't want to let you test it.
@@yutu3327 is spending $40 to find out if it's worth you using worth it? I've tried kits AI, I have tried sound ID voice AI. So far they're both okay. I think I'm going to have to peel off the 44 and see what this is about. And try to squeeze as much out of it as I can for that month. 😅

It's only 22 a month. Is cheaper than hiring other singers if you. You can pay the $22 use the heck out of it and cancel your subscription to the next time you need more voices.
@@HooktOnCarolina you're right, is it possibly worth the $40 to find out? Play Bob Dylan said if anyone is a serious musician it's definitely worth it, to find out. I'm starting to find out a lot of these AI generated voices things how to robotic some of them. The best one I found so far is kitsAI. But that's my preference. I think the cheapest planet is $9 a month? And you can combine voices for free to try it out. You have to pay to create your own voice though.
The custom voice definitely works much better with actual singing samples and you have to make it sing something in the range you actually can sing in. When I do that I sometimes even forget I didn't actually record myself when I'm working on a track because it sounds exactly like a typical recording of me singing. It can get quite spooky.
I recently bought ACE Studio largely based on this review and some of the others going on around TH-cam, but I'm really struggling with it. All the videos I've seen about it have crisp and clear vocals that sound authentic, but no matter what I do the voices always turn out with very poor pronunciation and largely sound like deaf Chinese people. I must be doing something fundamentally wrong, but apart from the videos on TH-cam there is very little advice or support for the product. I'm seriously considering a refund, but I don't want to do that because I love the technology and what it can do for people like me who sing like cave trolls.
@@BobDoyleMedia I've worked my way through all of them that are available to me and just can't seem to get a decent result. I was wondering if there is an obvious setting or something that I'm missing.

I hope Synthetizer V does this soon as I own a copy. I do not like the Subscription model ACE Studio uses.
This is EXACTLY what I came here to say too.
