ABOUT THIS GAME
An entirely new experience from the makers of the ‘The Forest’
Sent to find a missing billionaire on a remote island, you find yourself in a cannibal-infested hellscape. Craft, build, and struggle to survive, alone or with friends, in this terrifying new open-world survival horror simulator.
A Survival Horror Simulator
Experience complete freedom to tackle the world how you want. You decide what you do, where to go and how best to survive. There are no NPC's barking orders at you or giving you missions you don't want to do. You give the orders, you choose what happens next.
Fight Demons
Enter a world where nowhere is safe and fight against a range of mutated creatures, some who are almost human like, and others who are like nothing you have ever seen before. Armed with pistols, axes, stun batons and more, protect yourself and those you care for.
Build and Craft
Feel every interaction; Break sticks to make fires. Use an axe to cut out windows and floors. Build a small cabin, or a sea-side compound, the choice is yours.
Changing Seasons
Pluck fresh salmon directly from streams in spring and summer. Collect and store meat for the cold winter months. You're not alone on this island, so as winter rolls in and food and resources become scarce you won't be the only one looking for a meal.
Co-op Gameplay
Survive alone, or with friends. Share items and work together to build defenses. Bring back-up to explore above and below ground.

You could put a center column in your circle feature and make a sun dial. Unfortunately it will show a straight line pattern which can only occur if you are very near the poles.
It's a shame it doesn't move around with the sun. That would of been awesome if it did.
Just a suggestion... that I know would require more work... but if you look at the market square from the wall... if you moved the left side stalls over by one they would match the look from the right side and be symmetrical. In the two space gaps between the stalls... a "picnic" table/chairs would look quite comfy. Would be curious to see if V or Kelvin sits down and chills out.

With this one I only built one building at a time and didn't have any plans to build it as big as it is.
Should put some spotlights on the wall facing you’re base

You should position the spear guns so that they cover the open gate and shoot the cannibals as they come through :D (LOL - Then I watch further on and see that you do in fact move them.... ahhhh great minds think alike... eventually)
Yeah I've got no idea why I didn't them them before 😂 it's the perfect place for them.
Very nice! But the amount of those building rocks you used is crazy, other than console commands is there a way to transport more than 4 at once?
There was a mod that let's you set the amount you want to carry. I'm not sure if it works anymore though.
@@Kills4ThrillsGaming okay thanks, I started a normal difficulty game when went 1.0 and not using any mods or console commands, anyway my base was doing fine for first 25 days but now these insane looking mutants are knocking down my log wall!! They need to add a trailer we can attach to the golf cart so I can build a wall like you have 😎

We are on day 439
We finished and opted to stay on the island.
That's a long time in the island 😂 the 365 days felt like forever haha.
I am on day 749, but that's because I am still in the original game I started. I just keep building bases in the same game... Probably should start a new one 🙂
Same, we are on the First playthrough. We have bases and workstations all over the map. built over most of the cannibal camps too. They are mad at us lol@@laurakristiansen2370
