The main point of taming, (I believe) is to be able to farm food and other resources a given creature can drop. Also... in order to stop stuff from burning down, you might need to build a shield you've unlocked few episodes ago. Not 100% sure, I didn't play in ages. xd
You can build a saddle to ride the Askvin. The shield generator protects your wood buildings/constructions from the raining fire (and also from ranged attacks).
Askvins best use is riding them, great for scouting, can run over lava, and they're faster than anything you might meet, so you can flee. Don't get off them until they're locked up though, cos the frekkin things will wander off with your saddle. You really need a shield generator for your base mate. It's a hoot watching you, cheers eh
Your new fortress base rather than build a door. Get some normal stone and raise the floor to close the door that you smashed down.. You will have to setup a portal system to get in and out your base but it will be impenetrable.
Kills, use iron for your supports! You can cover over it with stone for aesthetics! Iron is far better than stone, you've got the basics right, going into the ground with the verticals, but use iron, it's way stronger! You'll notice with the colours when you're laying the "roof"! 😁😁 Hopefully others will tell you the same thing?! 🤔😁 Keep doing the British thing, muddling on! 🤣🤣🤣lol
You could try laying the iron beams into the existing stone columns, which'll be a head scratcher, or remove those stone columns one at a time and replace them with iron?! 🙄 The second option might entail some choice words as roof segments start collapsing?! 🤔 Then again, the existing supports might inhibit the collapsing, so no choice words and you'll have a far more stable "roof" that you can build upon?! 😁😁

Brutal biome but you’re making great progress. The fort is a great base to start more adventurous journeys into hell👏👍
Yeah once I get set in there I think we would be good to explore more.
Your new fort looks fantastic, maybe you could try out the new lava lamp for some lighting.
I do need to take a look at them lamps.

Yeah them things are fast lol. Once they get out there's no getting them back.
I will have to see if I can get a two star one and have that as a pet.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh come Kills, that Warrior just wanted to mooch off of you.

That's a good idea. I will have to try that out.
love your videos man keep up the good work!
also can you share what kind of mods are you using and where did you download them from?
The mod list should be in the description.
Here's the site I got them from
thunderstore.io/c/valheim/
Battering Ram idea "It could be the biggest mistake I've ever made or it could be absolutely amazing." Why can't it be both? LOL
That is true 😂 it seemed to work really well though
you can saddle them and ride across lava.

😂 Yeah I've had a couple of comments saying to use Iron beams. I will have to replace it at some point and add the Iron to it.

Another build!? What are the odds!? LOL
It's the final ashland build. This place is a nightmare though.

I did, I will have to make one.
