You'd think the Mayor and the Town Council would have the ability to investigate law enforcement agencies under their jurisdiction but sadly this is never the case in the US. I imagine, if I was ever elected to a city council or elected to Mayor of a city, what would I know about my city's police department? Very little except what the police department chooses to tell me. 99% of the time, it's such an imbalance of knowledge and power, the police department usually has de facto control of a city where they are involved unfortunately. I hope we can change this, perhaps with intensive civic classes for our kids but who knows?

Epileptic here: I also suffer from grand mal seizures. Thankfully, the first time I had one out of my apartment paramedics arrived and not police. They told me I kept taking the oxygen mask off. I was combative post-seizure but I’m not like that at all normally. I’ve never even been in a fight. I certainly don’t remember the incident. What I know is what my girlfriend at the time told me.

They did not say what the woman said on the 911 call and its possible that her request was not understood, she speaks poor english and seems a bit timid so who knows how she would handle an emergency. To be fair. They did not say what the woman said on the 911 call and its possible that her request was not understood, she speaks poor english and seems a bit timid so who knows how she would handle an emergency. Also police usually show up first because they are usually closer and can provide aid (notice the cop had first aid hear in hand and was asking if cpr had been given. Any normal person walking in on that situation would have noticed the man wrestling and pushing away the woman and than become aggressive/combative/resistant when the cop approached him. So it may have seemed to the cop that this was a domestic dispute and cops and prosecutors are trained that at all cost defend a DV victim. The cops did not do anything wrong from what we van see in the video.

Cops show up to everything… my grandmother had a stroke this past Christmas and the first person on scene was a cop, we didn’t let him in the house and it rubbed him the wrong way. Luckily the ambulance and fire dept was right behind him.

Its been 5 days since your comment and the following facts have come to light. The police tased a man having a seizure that they accused of being drunk and once they found out he did infact have a seizure they initiated a cover up and started questioning the man in a severely compromised state in the hospital to get him to go along with whatever bullshit story they were concocting.

So we just pick people up off the street, stick a badge on them and call them cops now? Officers are not "any normal person." They are trained professionals. If you call the police, you should expect to get a trained professional and not some thug who's first instinct is to come in and throw someone to the ground before asking any questions when it was very obviously not a domestic violence situation.
Just because you are trained to be evil doesn't suddenly make being evil to be good or excusable.

They played it on another channel she needed medical help for her husband he was gasping for air. The police somehow arrived with a first aid kit and during the whole time EMTs didn't enter.
