I re-bind those 4 essential keys on the keyboard just to make my life easier, gear raise = up arrow, gear down = down arrow, unlock gear = left arrow. lock gear = right arrow and gear prep = a button on my gamepad, now I need to practice landing this thing...
I've never gotten this fucking landing gear down. I do everything exactly as you suggest but the crank doesn't move with the mouse or keyboard. I can partially shake the landing gear out when I fly the airplane up and down quickly, but that's it.
maybe you're going too fast? make sure you: 1. pull top lever back to lock gear. 2. push gear direction handle down since u want to lower the gear 3. pull back the back handle to make tension in the string. 4. push top handle forward to unlock gear. 5. move crank to lower gear
@@dcstutorial Thanks for the answers! Well, extending the landing gear works as long as I don't go too fast. Pulling in works up to a certain point, then it suddenly stops and nothing works. My speed hasn't changed, nothing has changed but the crank is frozen and the landing gear stays three quarters retracted. No matter which lever I turn and move back again, nothing works. There must be a fault or it has not been implemented properly. In reality, it couldn't possibly have been that complicated. If I fly faster, it must be increasingly difficult (slower) to turn up to a certain point at which it no longer works, but not abruptly, when you reach a certain speed, everything stops. Total nonsense this landing gear!
