Welcome to Dispatches From Myrtle Beach! Link Neal and his father Charles Neal are practically identical, except they live thousands of miles apart from each other. Dispatches From Myrtle Beach brings the honest and often hilarious conversations between a tight-knit father and son team, as well as an inside look at the Neal family dynamic. Every Thursday, listeners will get to have the intimate experience of hearing a call between Link and his dad, but it’s not just Myrtle Beach we’ll be hearing about- it’s everything under the (Southern) sun.

"That would be correct" never gets old 😂
That would be correct
"yeeeesssssss"
Thank you fellas for responding to my wife’s (Courtney’s) email. She has improved a bit, and her mom also has CLL. Upon learning it, I researched it heavily, and was happy to have found what you both mentioned, that if you get CLL over the age of 45-50, it is almost certainly not going to be the cause of death for her mom. I’m sure it’ll give her reassurance to hear that coming from y’all, as I’m sure she thought I was attempting to
Give her the best possible, optimistic type of news.
To brag on Courtney, she’s in school for Psychology, almost has her bachelors, and has gone through so many things in her life that she has already helped so many others through.
Love y’all.
You guys are amazing. The way that you were able to put this episode together speaking about end of life with love. Giving comforting words of encouragement to a fan who's mum has had bad news. Thank you for being real in a compassionate and loving way.
more people need to watch this podcast lol, i love it so much
Love you guys. When Charles was looking directly into the camera taking to the daughter about her mom having cancer, he's so kind and genuine, he brought tears to my eyes.
Prayers for y’all and Nancy’s mom 💕
38:11 link mouthing with his dad is funny as hell
I love these conversations - they are funny, honest, and make me want to be a better daughter.
I love the "intimates nostalgia" from Charles. Logan catching it and their little chuckles
I went through the same thing with my nana last June. She had a stroke in April, and was in and out of hospital so much afterwards. She ended up passing away because of her alzheimers but it had increased like 3 fold after her stroke. My mum rang me up at the start of the week, saying that nana wasn't going to make through the night. But She managed to hang on till the Saturday night through just willpower! That week was the worst of my life, having to leave the hospital every evening thinking she would pass away that night. I miss her like mad but I know she isn't suffering anymore like she did the last few months of her life. Hope Nancy is doing OK under the circumstances. I'm sure Charles is doing a stellar job looking after her during this tough time. Sending you love from Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴 ❤
Sending prayers over to all of you and the family/friends. One of the hardest things to deal with is losing family, and the journey to that loss. But appreciate you guys tackling this very hard topic with honesty and grace. You two are a lot of fun to watch.listen to!
The first 6 minutes was very moving..
Thanks Charles
Finally made my way here. This is great! Off to watch all the episodes I've missed...
22:34 her little voice is so cute!
Thank you, Charles & Link for speaking so openly about cancer and how it affects everyone. God bless your family during this tough time.❤
Mr. Neil doing the ads. Love him.💖
i just love this show soooo much! 🙏for your mother-in-law, Dad.
Always a treat to catch up with Charles. The best part this week was his ad for Nostalgia GMM - available to intimates. 😂🤣
Please promote this podcast more. It’s amazing
Love this show never stop
Please keep this podcast alive FOREVER! Genuinely makes my day listening to yall
OMG Charles sponsors announcements are the best!
Sending love❤ and space for giving yourself grace
Was listening to the podcast on my way home from work yesterday, which I think was a blessing in disguise due to the part of the episode that talked about finding out about your loved one receiving a cancer diagnosis and what do you do. Well, shortly after I got home, I got the news that my dad has a cancerous tumor in his neck, and that he’ll be going through radiation and chemo therapy soon. I kind of had an itch that that was coming, but it hits you different when you actually hear it out loud. I think I may listen to the podcast again today, it was nice to hear Charles and Links perspective after Charles diagnosis. Thank you for being a comfort during this time ❤
Lots of love guys. Sending prayers down there❤
I have always wondered what Link senior thought about Link junior's spiritual deconstruction?
My sister and I nursed our mother to the end a year ago and the pain of slowly losing her and seeing her in pain was unbearable. I'm just so grateful that when she breathed her last at 4am we were both holding her hand but even when death is expected, it's still a terrible shock to the system when they go 💔
Charles is so sweet and precious! I'd love to meet him someday and give him a big hug ❤
I was dancing and rubbing my butt on this girl tryin to win! I am dead
I still can’t get over how alike Link and his dad look. Link, his father, and his children all lookstraight up identical
I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood/plasma/bone marrow) and had never heard of it, now I know of several other people who have it. It is somewhat like leukemia, in that it can be treated and brought into remission. I pray for anyone dealing with cancer or leukemia. I am currently in remission ❤
It a awesome podcast episode boys you going ride those waves
I am very sorry for Nancy and her family. May God bless each of you.
If Courtney is out there somewhere, I am a daughter that was in your situation once. My mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer when I was 17 and she passed away 10 months later. It is very scary. It is very sad at times but it is also an opportunity to cherish someone. My advice is like link and Charles’, breathe, try to be an advocate for your mother if she doesn’t have one, and focus on the bright spots when they come. Even in the saddest times with my mom, there was something we could do or say that would bring her joy.
Perfect timing
Charles you are a treasure!
"This is Charles Neal and my son Link" ✌🏻😃 "from Good Mythical Morning!"
First time viewer. Great Podcast!
She in hospice?? It’s wonderful way to go . They take good care of you. Best to you and your family.
As a Brit the shagging around the world section is just double entendre from start to finish. Love it.
Courtney, prayers for you and your mom.
I’m betting he volunteered to drive back down and record this video. He was probably like “I don’t want to leave but I have to, so sorry guys”. Deuces.
Such a good thumbnail
@22:30 hahahahahahaha cute
Let’s do a Dispatches From Myrtle Beach cruise!!!
Instead of being in the same boat 🛥, they could be on the same plane ✈
Link, as someone who has been through a bedside vigil when my mom passed, the vibe is - it sucks.
You don't want to lose your loved one and you don't want to see your loved one suffer with debilitating illness anymore.
It just sucks.
Optimal would be peaceful and without pain. #Hospice
Believe me. Athletes peak in high-school if they don't get into college. I have seen it more than once.
🤭@ it's initiates not intimates

ZZZZzzzzzz
Must be nice to have money. I will try to be as conservative as possible with my money to be able to do the amazing things both Charles and Link are able to do with their family. Hopefully maybe a nice retirement : )
Hey, link this episode got a little dark. Can we use Myrtle Beach as an escape episode? I have some ideas I hope you see my comment like this so link can see it.❤❤❤ it be cool for you guys to dress in tropical button collard shirts with a cool Cantina hat, straw, fancy, Mexican hat, drink some drinks or play some jazzy music taste different coffees try mythical meals. Let’s try to keep it more positive because it’s been really depressing. It looks like Lincoln is struggling too. I can see the sadness in his eyes, I wouldn’t mind a cohost on screen that would be a mythical dream❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It wasn’t all dark or depressing. And Lincoln wasn’t in this episode. Link and Charles were, as usual. 😄💗
they’re not show monkeys???? 😭 this is crazy
I think it's fucked up that Link started a podcast with his father and than decided to only do half the shows feels like he's not as committed as his father like you can't talk to your father more than every two weeks like you started every we selfish selfish shellfish
