Every time I watch your channel I Learn something new about plants. I enjoyed this video very much would love any of these plants in my home. Just wanted to stop by and say that your el choco propagation videos taught me how to successfully prop mine 💚 I've seen other TH-camrs say that they struggle with that so thank you! Hope you're well, appreciate ya. I have a similar wishlist: - philodendron billietiae variegated - anthurium red crystallinum - alocasia frydek - philodendron florida beauty - anthurium luxurians - anthurium fairchild - philodendron spiritus sancti - anthurium king of clarinervium I do have a large form monstera aurea (uk), but it's still but a baby at 4 leaves its new one has its first fenestration. Third leaf has good variegation and I'm waiting to see what the fourth is like. When it's big enough to cut, I would definitely be interested in getting in touch to do a swap!

I love your videos! Always fun and I learn something every time. My top wishlist plant is another El choco red. The one I have is only throwing small leaves. I need to chop it. I want to get a more mature one and have two (or more if I get around to propagating). I would like to use your air layering technique.

EL Choco's area a beauty, I don't blame you for wanting another. The one you have at the mo have you had it for a while? Has it got substantial roots?
@ I have had it almost a year. It was throwing huge leaves but went downhill because the leaves kept getting stuck and stalling. Chopped it and went to re pot but found out that the root system is tiny. No rot. So it is still in sphagnum because that is how I got it. I didn't think the roots could survive transition to soil. Hoping to have a look at the roots when the weather warms a bit.
