    I’m lucky enough to live in the tweed valley, can see glenbenna and plora from the window. Lots of hidden gems at Glenbenna!

      Ideal! It’s great having so many riding spots on the doorstep isn’t it. That hillside is perfect so I’m not surprised there are lots of good secret trails there 😁

    Some nice riding there guys although I really thought Laura was target fixating with that tree at 11.44 Thanks for filming, Andy

      Thanks! Hehe I was going straight for that tree. I’m known for delayed reactions so it was a VERY last minute swerve 😂. You’re welcome, it’s a pleasure 👍

      We are lucky here to have access to so many natural trails. Where in Germany are you? I did some riding there around Koblenz and Freiburg which was great 😊

    A load of trails I haven't ridden. Great to see them. My god we have some gnarly local trails eh?!

      @LauraJaneWeeTamMTB  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh wow! Yeah we do! The glenbenna side is a bit less ridden as it’s out the way a little but it’s good! Always in search of gnar 😆

    Great vid....can I ask being a newbie to MTB I haven't rode alot of steep stuff.....do you favour back brake over front or is it both brakes
    Thanks

    • @LauraJaneWeeTamMTB
      @LauraJaneWeeTamMTB  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! It comes with practice (I’ve learned the hard way a few times!) you’ll need both to slow down and control the speed on the steep stuff. The front is the one that does most of the work to slow down. It’s best to try and modulate/feather both brakes so that you don’t feel you need to grab them at any point and can keep a consistent speed :)

    I like A Salmons journey it's fun in the wet , just needs that nasty wheel swallowing hole filled near the bottom.

      Same! It’s a good laugh in the wet! Oh yeah that one properly caught us both out 😅
