Oh these came out SUPER cute!! I love how full the loose hair makes this illusion method look like actual box braids. I sometimes avoid the illusion method for that very reason, but the Boho is perfect for this braiding pattern. I may actually order these!!

I ordered this hair and installed it last night. Each pack I opened had a strong chemical smell. I went out and bought some dry shampoo this morning and almost used half the can to get the smell out. It was awful. I love the curls tho. The hair is so soft. I would wash it before I use it if you can. I’m going on a cruise in a few days and I’m on a time crunch. This hair ships from over seas so give yourself some time when ordering, at least 2 weeks. My head is pretty big, I ordered 3 packs (40 pieces/pack) 24 inches + an additional 20 braids. I used exactly 3 packs, with the 20 braids left over and my head is pretty full.

@@christinagray5426 a couple of the pieces did fall out in the first few days while finger detangling, the hair tangles bad. It’s more the loose pieces within the braided hair. The hair on the ends are really soft, pretty and never tangled or had an issue with. I reused the hair once. Honestly I will not repurchase this hair. For the price it’s not worth it to me. I’ve had synthetic hair last longer than this. As the hair got older I started cutting out the single strand pieces within the hair due to knots and tangles. I wasn’t a fan of this brand. I kept the hair in for 1 month the first time and 3 weeks the second time before taking them out. I used water, moisturizer, Hawaiian silk detangler, gel, girl everything to keep these curls, including mousse. I’m a former hairstylist and was bringing out all the things lol.

This was my first time doing crochet on myself. The girls where I live are charging $175 for crochet and no ma’am. Now mine aren’t crocheting how I would like but it’s not horrible. Gotta let it marinade. Lol. The hair itself is nice in full, however I lost several curls during the install and a few slipped right out the next morning when I ran my hands thru. I tried installing at the top of the braid like you suggested but the holes were so tight I couldn’t get the braid thru. I got frustrated and started pulling them thru closer towards the end and it worked fine. Just had to make sure I grabbed all the curls and pulled them thru. A couple got tangled but it wasn’t bad. Thank you for sharing!

Gurl!! I'm about to get this ❤🎉 very cute and it's human hair. I think it's best to have human hair, when wavy hair is out with braids or locs. They will last longer💯 sometimes gotta spend that extra change.

Love the style, I can’t lie tho the website is very deceptive about their prices. They show prices such as 17.99 or 18.99 and when you click on the item the price is vastly higher and then you also realize the higher price also accounts for strands and not a typical bundle amount. I’m not a fan of such disingenuous business practices, although, your hair did come out to be and you look beautiful.

You can crochet the end of the braid through a braid on the other side. Essentially, your hang time is cross crossed in the back

You did an excellent job. It looks fantastic. Im a grandma with gray, but I’m not an old rocking chair grandma. I’m very active with my grandkids as far a playing with them and frequently going to their sport activities. I live, dress, and act my age, but I just want to look my best and what’s becoming to me as far as hairstyles. I’m tired of putting a black rinse in my hair that only lasts for 2 weeks and the gray comes back in very gray. I don’t like human hair because I don’t know who head it came from. I hate to say it, but ordered and the smell was awful. Had to use vinegar and a little downy on the synthetic braids to take out smell. Standard cowashed the hair. Small shedding and some ends stuck up during wash! Love her videos but this product just ok!
I felt the same way. I left them a review on their page from the app I ordered from called SHOP. I got a response lol. 😂😂 Baby that smell was a bit much.

I’ve tried this. My hair is way too thick for the illusion part so this doesn’t work for me. It’s a very nice style though.
How do you remove it properly to be able to reuse the hair?
You unbraid your hair and the extensions will just come out. You may have to reverse the knot. Gently wash, dry and reuse.

I’d like to know this, too. I would’ve probably done a maze pattern so it’s not 5 chunky braids in the back you have to figure out to secure. Just one to tuck and crochet over.

@SuperPrettygirl5 mine tangled but it never matted. Def daily spraying water, moisturizer (Hawaiian silky). I started adding mousse more when the hair got older. There was shedding and a few pieces of the loose hair did fall out. I always finger detangled. I wore this hair for vacation and I kept it in for 4 weeks. I’m about to wash it for the first time and see how it does.
