First of all; This makes me wish 1313 hadn't been cancelled and secondly; this makes me want to take my chances on Korriban rather than tread into the Corusant underworld
One of Disney’s biggest mistakes was deciding to cancel any content that wasn’t focused on kids and young teens. 1313 was one of the first to fall to the mouse’s scythe
"It is advised that shuttles traversing the lower levels have their high beams on and their onboard weapons powered up." The pre buyout Star Wars guide to the planets.
This serie is perfect. It's a balance of lore and story that makes it interesting and relaxing at the same time, and I hope you'll do many other videos like that. Somehow, the narrator makes it very good and easy to listen to. The original narrator could do the lore and series videos, and the "newer" can do these videos and it's perfectly fine. I'm not an english native speaker and somehow the Australian accent is easy to understand for me.
If we ever get a Star Wars Horror movie, I would love to have it set in the lowest levels with let's say a Stormtrooper squad or other group trying to escape the pitch black ruins and the mutants within them
"The worst creature to inhabite Coruscant is a demon, a creature who shouldn't have a place on this and any other world but yet it exists, It leeches into everything it touches, corrupts even the most kind souls, it lives above us and yet, uses fear, anger and hatred to turn what could've been good people into monsters that even the depths fear, It betrays, cheats and dispose of those who he finds no longer useful, The people above worship the devil as if it was a savior however it's true colors appeared, it's name is Sheev Palpatine"
I wonder if the levels had quakes cause the ancient buildings they built over simply gave in Another thought that would corrasaunt will eventually cave on itself after constant building being added on each other
9:21 there a tale about the depths or what the vaults of the Jedi, the Hutts, or the Banking clan holds? Or if anyone ever came in from the bottom levels of the city into the high rises of the city, or the senate building or even the Jedi temple?
honestly I was skeptical at first but after I have seen that episode on the Rakatan mind prison I changed my mind, its some good shit for sure... we need more of those artifacts vids like the mind prison one
Despite all my time on the internet, this is probably my favorite series ever, the immersive narration and sound design is superb and I don’t think I’ve been more interested in Star Wars before. Thank you Geetsly’s.
N’zoth would be a cool place for the Smugglers tales! Hearing about the Yevetha and there culture and everything else about it would be freakin cool! I vote for N’zoth!
Ok here me out: Jedi: Fallen Order had a souls like combat system. So why not a Bloodborne style game where instead of Yharnham, you are stuck in the lowest points of Corusant and need to find your way out.
Awesome lore dive! I remember hearing that 1313 was once going to be a series. Pity that never happened. Imagine a series of Legends novels set down there, Star Wars Horror. instead of Tales from the Crypt, Tales from the Underworld.
Below lvl 1000 sounds like the kind of place where you'd find a mutated Zillo Beast feeding on energy. That would be an awesome idea for in a series or game.
We skipped last week, but it looks like we're back to this series this week. I guess this series is as unpredictable as parts of the lower levels of Coruscant. LOL.
Considering the thousands of levels, and the "tourist sites" that are mountain tops, I wonder if altitude sickness would be a concern for people not used to a place like Coruscant?
i really want a lower levels cyberpunk noir detective movie or series with the classic tropes attached to the genre. no cameos of pre existing characters, minimal if none jedi or empire, perhaps some sort of force cult or force sensitive gang that runs an area, but i want it to be vague on when it is in the timeline. im taking a lot of inspiration from season one of altered carbon, but obviously a much different story. no cheesy campy stuff thats plagued recent star wars productions, similar to the tone of andor. but i want the underbelly, gang violence, drugs, murder, make us a real gritty story of the grittiest place in the star wars galaxy. also would be cool to see an "underground" rave in the bowels of the lower levels lol
Coruscant is Earth a few thousand years from now. Yes, I know, "long time ago, galaxy far etc." But to the Force, Time and Space are meaningless, so it doesn't matter how near or far it is. To the force, the only thing that matters is that the story is good, even if it doesn't make sense.
Bless the Yuuzhan Vong (and also Jacen Solo plus Vergere) for giving these places and the rest of the gorram planet much needed naturalistic renovations... *unless you deem the shockingly fast, out-of-nowhere "reconstruction efforts" seen in the Denning-verse books as canonical.*
It's facinating how these concepts are build up, George Lucas made the capital of the Republic a planet that is a giant city, well how would that work?
Dromund Kass is better world. Atleast you can breath actually fresh air that is also highly ionized from that one "thing" Emperor did thousands of years ago but still better world.

@@jonathanrobison9667 yee its truly a shame
After hearing this tale, the fact that there are no horror games setting in Coruscant Underworld baffled me.

Damn that "second worst creature" line was COLD AF
Only I'd say that's the actual worst creature
"The worst creature to inhabite Coruscant is a demon, a creature who shouldn't have a place on this and any other world but yet it exists, It leeches into everything it touches, corrupts even the most kind souls, it lives above us and yet, uses fear, anger and hatred to turn what could've been good people into monsters that even the depths fear, It betrays, cheats and dispose of those who he finds no longer useful, The people above worship the devil as if it was a savior however it's true colors appeared, it's name is Sheev Palpatine"
Loved it. I appreciate the wobble when looking at the decrepit courtyard. Gave me that creepy found footage vibe.
I wonder if the levels had quakes cause the ancient buildings they built over simply gave in

I FREAKING LOVE THIS SERIES MY FRIEND!!! SO HAPPY WHENEVER A NEW EPISODE DROPS!! HELL YEAH!!

This series is getting better and better! I hope y'all are having as much fun making these as we are listening and watching.

This sounds a lot like your typical hive world from Warhammer 40k.
And Hiveworlds are quite common in 40k.
@@sonofeyeabovealleffoff5462y but 40k is extreem grim and there are literally demon gods so y
Excellent, very well done! I love when you capture the life on Coruscant! Thank you!
Man, I was about to go to sleep!XD
But Smuggler's tales is a must watch.
Dude I have no idea why this smugglers tales don’t get so many views but this series is awesome! Please keep it up
N’zoth would be a cool place for the Smugglers tales!

Ive got a star wars ttrpg campaign going which takes place in the lower levels of Coruscant

Man, this series is perfect. Great for inspiration, I am preparing a new campaign for my SW players. Great to create ambience and hooks. Great work!
I swear these smugglers tales video's get spookier and spookier.
Still interested to see if we get more TV shows that dive into the Coruscant underworld
We need longer videos of this series 😭😭
Awesome lore dive!

Words cannot express how much we appreciate you guys. This channel is the best! Thank you!
Can't be worse than Korriban.
Agreed. There at least some places that are decent enough to love, but on Korriban good luck finding a place not tainted by the Dark Side or a Ghost.
@@zexalbrony4799 Don't forget the flesh-eating zombies and dak side beasts.
@@vitorpereira9515 Yeah, Courascant is pretty tame compared to all that.
Loved that last line!

Corascant: Taris but sooo much worse.

Kinda like Night City from Cyberpunk. A high tech nightmare
I have to stop watching these before I go to sleep 😂

This is reading something from a EU novel
Interesting I would like to learn more

What if Windu survived down below level 5?
Its mutants underneath the surface in the lower levels? And it can rain down there? 😂 why havent the republic or sith cleaned it out?
Can you make one about Malastare?
Pretty much
