+sani 86 +ninjast4r I dunno, maybe that he's sober, come to find out he really is a fan & mark. Because previously, he always looked down, felt he was smarter, & superior to wrestling & the fans. He's still my favorite though, so much personality, it's effortless.
I got to meet and hang with Scott Hall back in 2008. Was around him for 2-3 months....yeah, it was one of his rehab stints, and my only time in one. Got to meet some others as well. Anyway, him and I hit it off well (now I’m sure he doesn’t remember me, I’m a nobody, just another dude along his road), but the guy was and is just like his person here. He’s funny, loves to joke with people, and loves telling wrestling stories. And he was sober during this time, he was 49, and wasn’t in bad shape but I doubt seriously he could have have been in the ring as his body was pretty beat up by then. I’m so happy that he has seemingly turned the corner, from one addict to another that had to face the music and get things turned around. Hope he continues to live life and enjoy his retirement.
@@stevenhernandeznon-profitf968 He himself admitted he doesnt gaf about himself, which shows how selfless he is but at the same time the guy keeps his badguy swag.
Love seeing Scott like this. He's a different person. A few people I've seen have credited Scott to being a great mind within wrestling when he was clean, and I'm sympathetic, having family that struggled with alcohol and drugs like Scott has. Glad to see he's doing so well.
I, myself have struggled with drug addiction. It's a dark place dude. I've been clean for 11 years on April 23. And it's no coincidence that my son was born on April 23, 2007.
Dallas is an amazing guy for all he's done. He brought two of the best guys in the biz back into the light of day. Scott and Jake seem so happy now. I know they will always struggle but I think he's helped them realize their own self worth. When a person learns to accept themselves and realize they have a support network it makes a world of difference.
Jb11182 good for you,I had a problem too now I'm clean.Leave that garbage alone it has no benefit whatsoever and just destroys and takes things away from you.
Scot Hall is sober as HELL, and i love that Diamond Dallas is so chill with Scot reminiscing about the old days. Much respect to Diamond cause he has a legendary background in wrestling too. But it's nice to see scott hall chilll af, talking about the old days. Diamond dallas page was always fan favorite of mine but it was nice seeing scott hall again with my dad's favorite razor ramon wrestler!
DDP is such a great guy. I liked how he just takes a backseat to his friend because he feels Scott Hall's genuine love for the business. Nice to see someone give others their time to shine and thrive. Good stuff man! This was great.
Scott comes across as a really humble genuinely nice guy! Lovely to see him looking so well relaxed n having fun talking about what he clearly loves. Respect.
+goddelusion100 100% of addicts will relapse. It's part of the program and is expected. The idea is to not return to you previous lifestyle after one bad day.
I guess. Yeah, I really like this wrestler a lot. But seeing that his career being big and all, I guess his way of coping made him spiral into this dark hole.
His problems stemmed for not having a purpose after his career ended along with the addiction to alcohol. Scott thrives when he's either talking and planning wrestling or able to be needed on his preferred environment. I reckon the reason he fell so hard was because it was all light camera and action. He was adored and was constantly working and then boom it went straight into nothingness. Didn't have a purpose to wake up for everyday and I can see why that co oletely crushed his reasoning to try get sober because he thought "well what else is there to do?" And he also believed (which is crazy) " everyone's forgot about me and no one cares about seeing me anymore or wants to hear from me. I'm a has been" and he couldn't be more wrong he was always and remains to be adored by fans even after all these years. If this man is needed and has a chance to share his huge wrestling stories and ideas I feel that's why he's thriving and determined to stay away from the wagon. Let's just hope in the future it doesn't dry up again and he's left to his own devices and spends too much time on his own again because that's when that evil drinker in his brain is awoken and huge self loathing begins to creep in again
Scott hall has one of the BEST minds for the business possible. He talks about wrestling in such a great light and has a great memory on things that happened 15, 20, 25 years ago like it happened yesterday and he has the perfect voice for radio or a podcast. I wish he started a podcast with Conrad Thompson or someone like him, shit do one with DDP or jake the snake. Wow I just typed all that before I even got to the point in the video where sam Roberts complimented his memory and story telling lol. Shit he stole my thunder.
So great to see Scott Hall like this...God Bless Him and DDP for caring about him...little story about Scott..while I was working as photographer me and my friend Frank were covering a AWA show in I think Atlantic City..The backstage area had porta potty's for wrestlers...Scott was looking at magazine I worked for and Frank went into potty then Scott smiled at me and went over and locked outside of door while Frank was in it..Frank is yelling I CANT OPEN DOOR and I just motioned over to unlock it and Scott walks front of me and smiles..I sat back on bench...Scott left and laughed and walked away ..I opened it up and explained to him what happened..he said why didn't you help me?...I told him when was last time you tried to move Scott Hall out of the way😁... hahahaha
Dam I'm so happy to see the BAD GUY sober and doing good. Thank God for Dally caring enough to help his friends out with their addiction and what ever else he is helping them with. I'm a recovering addict myself being hooked on pills will destroy your life it takes away what you hold dear to your life. For me it was my wife and kids. Its a struggle everyday to stay sober I just wish I would have done this before I lost my family. But the up side my parents are still alive they have not had to bury their son and that's what keeps going I've put everyone through enough I do not want to die. And I sure as hell don't want to kill my parents by having to bury me
How cool is Page. He just sits back and listens to the stories. Does not need any limelight. And this was to promote his movie. Yet he is totally chill about getting very few plugs on it.
R.I.P Bad Guy😭😭😭 I wanted to hear a interview from him again and this was the first one that came to mind. Thank you for getting this awesome interview Sam!

Thanks for this Sam! I loved every single minute of this interview. I feel somewhat bad for DDP though as this was heavily towards Scott but in the same Token, while watching Scott speak with such passion about topics you can tell Dallas is just so happy seeing his friend clean and enjoying himself, remembering and talking about old times. Beautiful interview, thank you!!!
Thank you for this amazing supplement to an amazing resurrection story.
