I loved how Andrea was saying to Carol that Rick had gone cold in hopes that Carol would be the sweet supportive mother of the group Instead Carol told Andrea what she should do and that moment made Andrea realize just how much everyone at the prison has changed (how they had to change to survive)
You are completely right, the governor has a power fetish which is why he killed the army lot - If they came into the community they would over power him. He’s literally crazy with power, he thrives off of the fact that the people of Woodbury look to him for all the answers. Can’t wait for the next episode!!
This part wasn't in the TH-cam video, but I assume you heard where Carol told Andrea to sleep with the Governor, give him the best night of his life, and then Andrea could end all this. Which is what Andrea tried to do, so I don't think she was under the Governor's spell anymore. When it came right down to it, she just couldn't bring herself to kill someone in cold blood, even though she knows now that he isn't the man he pretended to be. She's been eager to kill walkers, but not people. I suspect she was more influenced by Dale and his way of thinking than she ever realized. I get why she couldn't follow through, but it's really unfortunate she missed that chance to eliminate a very dangerous threat.
I havent even watched yet But Andrea is Trash in the title TOOOOOOOK MEEE OUTTTT 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 I hated Andrea LONG before this episode. she been effed up 🤣🤣🤣🤣
u did NOT cut the two best scenes of this episode?? merle saying ”ricks become cold, unsteady” and carol telling andrea to give the governor the best night of his life only to kill him :( been waiting for yall to see carol say that, such a great scene showing carols character development. she’s gotten so far
To the guy on the end in blue, Andrea and Michonne were together longer than Andrea was with the original group. They were together for 8 months +. Remember Lori was just at the beginning of her pregnancy when they got separated. Michonne was a good friend to her, took care of her and she turned her back on her for a guy she just met. I don't like Andrea she FLAKLY.
Ok finally it’s time for me to say what I analyze about Andrea’s role in this season. At first on Woodbury she’s ok with the place she never see anything that would make her worry Michonne never gives a real reason for her to risk her safety on the outside again So she stays she thinks the Governor is a good person and she’s interacting and seeing that there are good people living in the town. Then we have the Governor manipulating the narrative to create conflict between the two groups he never tells Andrea about Glenn and Maggie and he never says the people from the prison are Andrea’s old group to her so she’s eager to help Woodbury against the so called awful prisoners enemies. She even comes to his rescue on his house on 3x08 when Michonne’s about to finish the job because she still don’t know what we as the audience knows that the Governor is a piece of shit At that point she still thinks Phillip is a good man (and tbh us in her place feeling safe in a safe place and seeing his whole nice facade through HER eyes would probably have the same line of thinking as her) It’s only when Michonne leaves the room that she sees the whole walker heads on fish tanks and she sees the Governor holding his dead daughter that she finally comes to clues that this man is not so good on the head. She learns the enemies were her friends and the Governor is clearly lying about a lot of things and it’s not what she thought he was She finally has all the facts laid out to her in this episode learning of him kidnapping Glenn and Maggie sending Merle to kill Michonne (and if Andrea were to go with Michonne she would too be in his aim) attacking the prison and instigating a war. Now you see she won’t completely side with either side because both sides have good people and to have casualties on an unnecessary war is stupid So she won’t just go back to the prison and leave Woodbury solely at the hands of his psycho ass She showed true leader spirit on 3x09 inspiring people and keeping them calm when he was too damaged to do anything she needs to be there to try and keep things on a calmer tone. When she’s on the last scene after giving him the best sleep of his life you see she was thinking of going through with Carol’s plan she has no real feelings for him anymore she’s not still falling for a bad guy even after learning of his awful way of doing things she was going through with it BUT you see to kill someone in cold blood in their sleep is somethings that is not on her blood yet I believe Dale’s words were totally resonating on her about there’s no more civilization on the world but we can’t afford to lose our humanity So she’s unable to do it. I do get people mad that she didn’t go with Michonne and that people are eager to see her with the group again as soon as possible but I do believe people have a very one sided way of thinking on this whole dilemma and with this they just call Andrea a stupid character that sides with the villain just because he has a penis when things are really not like that The hate towards her feels very exaggerated to me and just like with Lori I’ll be on their defence squad everytime.
How about trusting the person who saved your life and took care of you for 8 freaking months and turns out in the end Michonne was right so Andrea was a trash friend to her and was obsessed with the Governor the moment she met him instead of having critical thinking skills even pointing a gun at her friend for a man she knew for 5 minutes
SPOILER ALERT. You said she won't just leave Woodbury and go back to the prison but... that's exactly what she ended up doing, her dumbass got caught, and a majority of Woodbury died💀 She literally did NOTHING to help either side. Her warning to Rick was meaningless cause Rick already knew and the Governor didn't give a shit about her opinion. Hell, Rick didn't even care about her opinion in 3x13. Like all your points would be valid if ANY of that served the plot beyond a filler relationship. But none of it does. It just makes Andrea look like a useless piece of work for a majority of the season. It's just not good writing. Having a character whos in a nuanced and important position like Andrea was, while also having said character do nothing to drive the plot forward is not good writing. I was SO close to liking her in 3x14 when she almost made it back to the prison and then the writers ruined it. I do agree both she and Lori are overhated but Season 2 and Season 3 Andrea are insufferable. They ruined her character by involving her with Shane and the Governor. I will defend Lori with my life though.
My favorite characters this season are Andrea, Carol, Merle, Hershel, Beth and Milton, I like Andrea and Carol friendship, Carol was the first one to hug her and Hershel second to hug her
It’s really easy to get pissed at Andrea and hate her character, I know cause I’ve been there. But as I’ve gotten older and watched the rest of the show I realized that she was just trying to do the right thing. She was trying to save both Woodbury (the people there, not just the Governor) AND her friends in the prison. She truly cared about everyone. And the Governor played on that to manipulate her. Also… I’d love to see you guys come face to face with someone like the Governor and NOT be manipulated. And I say this laughing, because not one of you would be able to smell his bullshit, you’d all be fighting for him within twenty minutes. I’m telling you from experience. Men like him have zero emotion. They’re charming, intelligent, and their lack of moral amplifies their intelligence and strategy- especially their manipulation. I’ve been victim to many men and women like him, my whole life. I get it’s nice to think you wouldn’t be gullible. But the truth is you have no clue until you care for someone like that.
well thats you, as an over-thinker like michonne , i can smell bs a mile away. there are people in the world who psych-analyze people on the daily due to past trauma and given the apocalyptic environment trust should be scarce, its just common sense to not trust someone automatically because they ‘helped’ you , always having an excuse , and best of all not someone who keeps too many secrets. Woodbury was textbook definition of “too good to be true”. So yea i’ma keep being pissed at Andrea for her poor decision making ( such as trying to negotiate with a psychopathic narcissist) to save the group she should’ve exposed the truth of Philip to the town and let them decide their fate. but nah! she went back to fuck and try to negotiate a maniac.
the producers absolutely RUINED andreas character. her character in the comic book was easily my fav character. her turn around in the comic was what made it epic and she even had a relationship with rick later on. apparently the producers told her that it would be the same way, she got signed for 8 seasons, and then rewrote her characters arc.. so trash
Andrea has her reasons. I've never hated on her. In the future I know some I can't stand. Andrea imo really wanting to find a way out. Great reaction guys
Seen, at that point nothing. However, people she traveled with, who she knew were good people told her all about him. Merle would’ve said something. Michonne, she was with Michonne longer than anybody. If she didn’t trust her then wtf.
Andrea has always sucked to me. There would be moments where I would think it's clicking for her but then she'd make a stupid decision and I would hate her all over again. I gave her grace after her sister died but then she was dragging it. Being mean to Dale, hooking up with Shane, shooting Daryl, allowing Beth to almost commit suicide. Now adding her not trusting in Michonne, and hooking up with The Governor aka The Devil... SHE'S EXHAUSTING. She has no self preservation, like sis where is your intuitiveness????
I’m certainly bot a fan of Andrea but I can’t help but wince when she gets more hate than someone like Merle, who at least one person on this group openly ADORES. The man’s a straight up racist that only cares about him and his brother. And he gets more respect and the benefit of the doubt then you’d ever consider giving Andrea.
One of the biggest criticisms I see of the show is these slower character driven episodes Personally I believe they’re necessary because they make the conflicts impactful Occasionally they go a little too far and border on being boring but typically there’s a point behind all of it Try to remember this is a long running series and every piece of character development adds to their overall arc In the end I believe you’ll appreciate the show on a whole Sometimes because of these slower episodes and sometimes in spite of them.
There is a Meme about Andrea and that when you re-watch the show you have to sit through all the Andrea scenes. rewatching the show through your reactions Shes not as bad as people joke about but she is defiantly the worse character in the show. also Andrea and Michonne were together longer than Andrea was with the original group
I liked Andrea but hate how she is conniving behind the Governor's back. Governor should have had her killed as soon as he found out she sneaking off to the prison. She's being very disloyal and can't be trusted, IMO.
I've told them a few episodes back, but they continue to call her something else so I've given up, they've given her a different character name, it's up to them if they want people mocking them, but I'm with you, it's Andrea NOT Andreah😤 which is a whole different pronunciation and NOT how her name is written or pronounced by the Directors, writers, AMC or her fellow co-actors & actresses.🤷🏾♀️🤦♀️
@@KayKay-l2t What are you talking about? Andrea is spelled the same whether you pronounce it the way they do or the way she does. The way they are pronouncing it is a far more common pronunciation for Andrea than the way she pronounces it.

How many people would still be alive if Andrea went through with it this episode? I hate TV Andrea.
Yeh she had a guaranteed easy kill.
I’m not sure why the governor didn’t question that she may be trying to kill or cheat him though…
