I've been trying to get back into reading and every time I want to read but can't seem to just do it, I sit down and watch your videos. They're so calming and honestly your channel is such a comfort. I also want to add that you help me feel so much better about what I'm reading. I've had people say to me that romance isn't real reading or that it's super cringe, but seeing you enjoy romance so fully has helped me feel more comfortable in the genre as well. I hope you get even more 5 star books in the second half of the year!
Try audiobooks. I have not wanted to read a single word for like 2 months now but I've still consumed over 30 books through listening while doing something else. Sometimes just changing up the medium helps so much.
If you like Chestnut Springs, I recommend The Bailey brothers series. It’s small town, romance, funny banter, some mystery and this really cute way the grandma knows who their life partners are before even they do. Highly recommend!

Jack is definitely my favorite book boyfriend, followed by Gus from Beach Read and WYN from Happy Place. I loved Fourth Wing SO much! My favorite of the year is The Other Side by Kim Holden, a standalone. I just love her as a human. I want to rec to EVERYONE, it's important! There are many like Toby out there that need to know they're not alone. It follows a teenager in the '80s with severe depression, and how a girl, & the broken people in his apartment complex can help him realize his worth. There's more than one side to his story, he's more selfless than it appears. Kim herself was suicidal as a teen, this was something personal. I'd say that Toby in this book was who she was, and Kate from Bright Side is who she's become/wanted to be. It's heavy, some may need TW, but it's a tale of hope. I have a new perspective on many things
