A lot has been made of the STL area's multitude of municipalities. Certainly, the light rail limitations has been a consequence, as many took the NIMBY approach. One benefit though, in recent years, has been municipalities competing on having the best parks with the most walking, hiking, and/or biking trails. Seriously, if I want a good walk, I almost dare to say there are TOO MANY options!!
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed! It's a neat trail and we really enjoyed the broader context of this stretch.

Agreed, there are a ton of opportunities, just spread out, which makes it harder on a visitor vs. a local.
What do you need Amtrak for? 240 miles times two is 480 miles of pedaling bliss!
If only we could take that much time off...
hate this trail in st. louis
Which trail are you referring to, and why?
