Sinvula Mudabeti on Evening Review

On 10 January 2023, Sinvula Mudabeti (a Caprivian) discussed a number of issues affecting people of Caprivi Strip during this interview.
He discussed Botswana Defence Force aggression against Caprivians along Chobe river, lack of protection by the Namibian government against BDF aggression, the 2018 boundary treaty between Botswana and Namibia, systematic ethnic cleansening and discrimination against Caprivians within SWAPO by SWAPO, the discrimination and blackmailing of Caprivians by Namibian government since 1990.
He revealed that almost 18 islands of Caprivi Strip were ceded to Botswana through the 2018 boundary treaty without consulting people and traditional authorities in Caprivi Strip.
He agrees that these and other issues are the reasons why people of Caprivi Strip want to be independent from Namibia. In his view, maybe Caprivians are forcing themselves to be Namibians since "the writing is clear on the wall".
