A friend I used to play with had one of these, many years ago. It was a white Vox phantom We used to call it the coffin guitar.

Good work. Reminds me that when I was younger, those were kind of expensive at the time (mid to late '60's). You could get some Gibsons for about $300, and the Vox's were averaging $500.

Reminds me if a Phantom / Telecaster hybrid guitar I saw a Japanese musician using in a vidio, unfortunately I do not know if it was a one of custom or a producton model .

I got to play a friends Vox Phantom in the early '80s and always wanted one, however, they just got more expensive as the years went on and I don't think many copies were ever made.

Phantom is pretty rare. It's hard to play but it's a good guitar! 😍

Where did you get the pickguard and switch plate? They are both Vox shaped parts.
