We just saw an amazing stick figure show in Seattle. We discovered stick figure last summer, when they were the only medicine that worked for us. We lost our dog Maggie in a long, painful death. We were crushed. It hurt to breathe. Too many memories at home, so we'd just drive around in the car listening to stick figure for hours every day/night. It was the only medicine that worked. Gradually over weeks, it didn't hurt quite as much to be at home. We still miss our sweet Maggie, but it's mellowed into good memories and love. I think stick figure works well for grief, because there's both beauty and melancholy in the songs. It doesn't pretend that life doesn't hurt, but helps embrace the hurt into the beauty. Thank you stick figure.

His first four or five albums including this one he singlehandedly created . Each song was written as he started with the drum beat ..then layed each different instrumental track himself in layers... then he sang.....while playing the guitar and keyboard..... he only partnered with kbong and got a band after this album and if that’s not like putting your soul into sound idk what is... he’s a musical sound master. Soul food. This is my all time favorite for real. What talent!

I tuned into Stick Figure ten yrs ago you see . I spend my days in chronic pain and while on the mend on one of my surgeries listening to this music and Slightly Stupid The Movement they get me through the hard part of life. This music lifts my soul and for hours I'll forget my condition the healthiest distraction from the controlling aspect the mind.

I have to look through all of old texts and any messages sent, and wow. so many times I apologize for expressing myself, and I was wrong because he was suicidal, or struggling or overwhelmed. and I was so tired of hearing excuses I would apologize. and he only apologized a handful of times. I finally have the strength to leave. but my anxiety reading 3 years of messages is giving me severe anxiety. I come to this song to bring me back down, and to breathe. fighting for change is hard, and it's easy to do nothing. but it is part of my story and I'm blessed to experience the gift of life, love, pain, fear everything. it reminds me I am human and alive. and today I am thankful for that.

just getting out of a 3 year old relationship with a addict. we have a 19 month old daughter and the last overdose was right after I went to see my dying grandfather. and I saw the lies and manipulation so clear. I have to look through all of old texts and any messages sent, and wow. so many times I apologize for expressing myself, and I was wrong because he was suicidal, or struggling or overwhelmed. and I was so tired of hearing excuses I would apologize. and he only apologized a handful of times. I finally have the strength to leave. but my anxiety reading 3 years of messages is giving me severe anxiety. I come to this song to bring me back down, and to breathe. fighting for change is hard, and it's easy to do nothing. but it is part of my story and I'm blessed to experience the gift of life, love, pain, fear everything. it reminds me I am human and alive. and today I am thankful for that.
