    1:24 - There's no reason to have 0% compression for a PNG file unless you're worried about the time to output each file since PNG compression can be slow to process.

    Well there is one important Reason why you want to render in 32 Float. If you render Lightpasses the Compositing will be right and all your Glows will be much more saucy. And you will have the Right informations for you Depth passes. But that is only if you render AOVs and do your Compositing in Fusion. :)

      okay so how to actually match it up to some real life shots? i want to film an amateur music video ( two men blackmetal band) and i want to put them into a forest from blender, some mist and dust coming up, or maybe fire idk .. how could i do that? can i simply put the forest animation in davinci and put the shots of the band on top? this might go completely wrong

      @@lilyluna4155 If you want the band to be in the foreground and the forest be in the background, you can composite them the way you mentioned.

    Not sure how you got from 2:56 to 3:01, was it imported or did you drag and drop the folder? Did Blender also create a series of PNG files

      Apologies for the slow reply - basically all I do is navigate to the folder where I have all my EXR frames rendered. Resolve automatically converts any similarly-named image files in most formats to an image sequence, so I imported the EXR sequence like any other video clip.

    exr zip colours look correct but the file sizes are extreem 19mb per frame. Am I missing some essential settings?

    quick question : there is way to do a basic NLA in Blender and then bring that over to DaVinci including all the movie clips, trims, tracks(layers) ?

    I want to thank you for this video, there is very little information about the workflows between Blender and Davinci Resolve or other programs, I am in the middle of producing a movie and I ran into the problem of color spaces, for a question of time and space we are using PNGs and when opening them in the editors they look super dark, or they make artifacts in the midtones, maybe it is because we are using 8bits, the information about the LUTS of resolve Linear to SRGB really helped us a lot, thank you very much !
    PS: You know why when exporting to photoshop a Blender PNG looks very, very dark?

    Do not use a LUT for color space transform, use color trasnform OFX

    Great video. Is there a way to combine all render passes inside Resolve?

    • @WeareVRMUSIC
      @WeareVRMUSIC 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it‘s very easy. Open Fusion inside Davinci and merge all passes toghether✌️
