ok I cannot figure out the last note!!! is it a G1, F1?? what ever that note is!! it is one one of the deepest I've heard but well that it is expected from a great basso profondo like pasuikov!! hey t Aleksei dont you have the whole vespers with this choir? Because its very good and It will be good to heir this choir singing the other 12 movements! still wonderfull!
@Aleksei5 G1 huh?So wonderfull to heir it so clearly but hey so bad they dont sing "14" that one, and movement 5 and 2 are my favorites. And where did you get the whole recording? Its because I'm collecting all choirs recording of the Vespers. I've listened and have recordings from St Petersburg Chamber Choir, Robert Shaw Singers and many others. Its a memoir to my grandfather whom loved the Vespers since 1966 well I'll be hoping to see more from Accordance Male Choir! Thanks for the post!
Wondeeful celestial chant, as if it were sung by angels.
GORGEOUS.
@KjeXXXer
Yes, the conductor is Alexander Govorov, the recording date is 2000. The music was transcribed for a male choir by Alexander Govorov.
I've imbibed many a profundo, but few, if any, share the quality of Pasyukov in a choral G1.
I think I also hear Mikhail Kruglov in the Basso Profondo section
+DonSchanteloni Good ear - he also sang with the group at that time.
@DonSair20
It's G1. I have the full recording, only, they don't sing 14 "Risen from the Grave". I'll post it soon! =)
