Thicker tying thread (Danville 140) will help pinch the rubber material. You can skip the glue and it will still hold well but may not be as durable. I caught a 20" rainbow on a glueless pink version this spring. Cheers
I also recently tested the Loctite on "Dollar Tree" Squirmy material that I found for $3 per bag. I've seen others say that it was the same as other squirmy materials and had to try it out. I haven't done a video yet but have found that the Dollar Tree Squirmy material is similar to all the other squirmy material that I've used and ties the same. I used the Loctite sparingly (as I did in this video) and it did not damage the material. I'm able to find the Loctite with the brush on amazon. It's hard to find elsewhere. Cheers.
I looked at five videos on this and this one looks like I can actually tie this one. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice on the lock tight. I had no idea it wouldn't melt the material. Will go pick some up now

Appreciate seeing how other people work with this material. It never seems particularly graceful or works out the way I want it to.
I try to keep it simple and effective. Thanks for checking it out and the great comment.
That’s an easy and clean pattern. TY.
My goal was to make it simple and durable. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers
Enjoyed this, great job!
Thanks. I really appreciate that you checked it out. Caught a huge rainbow with a pink one this spring. Cheers
