Hope you enjoy this converted church house tour! Should we feature more unique properties on the channel? Another interesting fact about this property is that a time capsule was set into the main stone foundation, containing items associated with Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, celebrated the same year. Make sure to like & subscribe for more property tours.
Great space to live in but one major issue that I noticed is that in both sleeping quarters there is nowhere for your cloths ?? Serious lack of cupboard space ? Am I missing something ?
I really like this, I would live here if I was single. I speak French and love all things French, so that's a bonus. Brighton is a fabulous place to live, loads of great restaurants and shopping, and of course, the beach on your doorstep! The only thing I don't like is a bath in the bedroom. Surely it's going to steam up the room and make all your bedding damp?
Ridiculous valuation! Nowhere to park a car, no en-suite bathroom and virtually no natural light. And the joke “terrace” gets about 5 mins of sun on a good day, since it’s surrounded by much taller buildings (great big hotel) on pretty much every side! There isn’t even any storage space to speak of. Does not work at all as a home. Might be good as a weekend getaway spot (if you don’t mind coming by train), but at that price there are much less compromised offerings on the market. No wonder it’s been sitting unsold for over a year!
Do please pardon my poor manners by pointing out a possible typo in your comment. I only remark because for me it's created quite an amusing image. 'Deconsecrated' is the term for a church being no longer used for worship, I believe. 'Desecrated' brings to mind something quite different!
Very poorly done. Could real people actually live in the church? Where’s the storage for clothing, towels, bedding? Filming was quite disjointed, just showed decorating, nothing practical. Was not presented as a possible actual home for real people. Like a movie or stage set.
Very nice, but it’s surrounded by a road on at least 3 sides! From what I could see anyway 🫤 and as it’s in Brighton, I hope there’s some kind of sea view at least. The mezzanine level master bedroom suite is quite stunning though. And French Protestants? That’s the Hugonauts, no?

I think more unique properties would be great
How about featuring more properties on you OWN channel, why are you on Matt & Summers channel??? GET YOUR OWN CHANNEL
@@charlesjay8818 Tom and Jas are co-presenters showing UK homes while Matt and Summer show Australian homes
A very unique find guys, I do find it fascinating viewing unique and converted properties. Close to Brighton too what’s not to love 👏 👍
Thank you for showing this fascinating and a wonderful conversation

Nope. You’re right. Does not work as a home. It only works as an air bnb or a weekend home, but then it’s waaay over priced for that.
You guys are so hard working thanks for all the uploads I love it. Keep smashing it
This is beautiful, I have always wanted to live in a converted church. I actually watched a programme where the building details were discussed
Making a bar out of the altar is crass.
They used to store coffins in the basement
That mezzanine bedroom - I wonder if in the middle of the night anyone ever peed in the tub instead of using the toilet all the way downstairs 😆
My fave so far.
This channel is just amazing
Pretty sure that was formerly a pulpit, not an altar. Great content as always though 😁
Beautiful home/church!

Thank you for liking french " things " aha 😄
Greetings from France 🇫🇷
Fabulous property 💒
So well done x
Doesn’t seem very practical. What about the traffic noise and where would you park your car as it looks like double yellow lines all around?
uber
@@janitoronfire I was thinking that this would be a holiday home so would need to get there by my own transport.
The idea was good but the interior design came off for me
Such an example of a thoughtful conversion. TT
Hooooooly s, this channel is underrated af
Vdry nice
Incredible video!
You never showed the bowling alley 🤣
you are amazing well done
Very nice 👌👌
very cool....great summer getaway home for Londoners.
Love seeing the quirkiness, however I dont think I'd like to live somewhere like this. Nice for somebody else. Kitchen a let down.
Nice house,good video
Hi, can you find any more Church/ Chapel conversions in London please ?
Only one bathroom?
Just a heads up you've got one too many 0s in title. Think it should say £1,750,000.
A very expensive bachelor pad, with a bedroom in the cellar for guests
Any parking or garaging with the property?
Doesn't look like it.
Ridiculous valuation!

Wonder who owns this house and what sort of person wouid by this house ?
Hi how are you stay safe and well love from jess xx
Please see my comment I hope to see a bigger and more luxurious house in London
No privacy for the main bedroom suite at all. that would not be for me.
They've been trying to flog this white elephant for year's and have no chance at this price
It had no windows to see out of!? Only stained glass, so very claustrophobic.
No views so no need for clear glass?
I don't know who has painted the scriptures at the entrance but there is a big mistake...
One too many zeros in the title but nice place!
This the Tom & Jas channel now
Is it easy to get churches desecrated before making them residential?

@@JohnCallaghanMusic That’s what I meant of course. How embarrassing! 😳
@@fburton8 No need to feel that way! In fact, thank you for giving me a chuckle imagining a *very* different TH-cam channel to this one! :)
@@JohnCallaghanMusic Thank you, John. I’m glad you see the funny side. :)
Not for me… terrible use of space.
If lucifer was not living in the lux penthouse he would be living here
These guys are better presenters than Matt and Summer.
Take file of all ladies in psychology definition of sadam Hussain hospital nursing home in oman
Why is someone else doing Matt and Summers videos?
Because they are in Australia making tours. Tom and Jas are doing the UK tours.
Don't like the modern features. Ruined the character.

No taste, proper sringfellow

It's road on all 4 sides! I don't think its a particularly busy road but seems like its access to parking for the gym and hotel next door
