I studied in Lahore college from 1984-1988. We had our Persian class in this block. In other rooms too classes were held. There is no such thing. Sirf gapaen hn. My mother and khala also graduated from Lahore college in early 1950s. They lived in this hostel. In their time it was hostel. My mother and khala stayed on the same floor as this room. We also told our mother such stories and she told us that no there was no such girl shakuntala but it was heard that a girl lived in this hostel who used to have out of season fruits in her room eg mangoes in winters and oranges in summers or expensive dry fruits. Other Girls asked her from where she got them. She sometimes replied and sometimes she ignored but it was said that her mother died in her childbirth and father was a rich man who married another lady. She was Muslim and not shakantula. She used to tell her friends that her mother brought these fruits.

I was in this college since 2007-2013
After listening shakuntla’s stories, I personally visited two or three times this room. I even went inside and saw the tree also but never witnessed anything there , no shadows, no sounds….

If a building has to be haunted after a mishap / suicide then whole Pakistan & India must be haunted where every single day number of Shakuntkla’s are raped / killed / harassed or commit suicide. It was an entertaining episode like a horror film and I thoroughly appreciate their effort but the real Shakuntla is Hunger, poverty and injustice and yes it screams every now and then.

Dr. Suraiya k hotey shakuntala kahan reh sakti thi 😂😂😂 we took maths classes in graduation and celebrated our birthdays there. Had a whole year of economics department there when new buildings were being made.... nothing happened.... girls of physical education used these rooms for FUN 😉

When I was a student , classes were held in all the rooms. No room was looked. Nothing felt only stories heard....
Good to see that ur team has visited LCWU in search of Shakuntala I studied here for 6 years til 1992.We heard about the stories related to Shakuntala.All that time our classes were conducted in old hostel but only one room was locked .Now the whole building looks haunted .Why didn't u had interviewed old employes of this university because many residencies were near this building.Someone must have seen some paranormal activity there.

My sister studied there from 1993 till 1995 . She had one incident during her stay in hostel . One night she went to wash room , When she came back, room's Door was locked from inside , she started beating the door to wake up her room mates so that any one could open the door from inside , After 30 or 45 minutes one of her mates open the door . She told this story to her mother , and we bring the matter to her hostel warden and ultimately to principal ,, All her room mates swear to God that they did not lock the door from inside . All said that It must be Shakuntala who did that .

About 4 decades ago I used to study in this college/ University ......
We used to have our psychology classes there in this old hostel ,with Mrs Atika Zafar Cheema and Miss Jameela sheikh ...
We also came through the story of Shakuntala Devi .
We used to peep inside the room ...but there wasn't any scary element , no one was ever hurt or affected .
I'm feeling very bad about the condition of this old hostel ...its gone pathetic ... very sad

My punjabi class was just next to shkuntla room and it was full of old furniture it was a bit scary but now the condition of the hostel is worst

1978 سے 1982 تک اس کا لج میں پڑھا۔تب بھی یہہ کمرہ اسی حالت میں تھا۔یہی کہا نی ہم نے بھی سنی۔ ہماری کلاسز اس بلڈنگ میں ہو تی تھیں ۔کبھی کچھ دیکھا نہیں۔ ہمارے لیے تو یہ source of enjoyment تها. لیکن زیادہ تر سٹوڈنٹس خوفزدہ ہو جاتے ہیں۔

Neither I comment on social media nor i believe on such things but that's 100 % true.Our far relatives live on the backside of this hostel because that's residential area on other side. Our relatives reported such incidents many times there even on the roof.Just a week before they told that their mutton kaleji was missing from the kitchen in the day time and there was signs of taking it away on their stairs.Even once their meat was missing from refrigerator.Many times they hear strange sounds at night on their roof and on stairs at backside of this hostel building.

Even they check video recording but there was no sign of any person or cat or dog etc. The signs on stairs was that melted water which was in meat bag because they put it outside ( in kitchen) to melt water down because meat bag was freezed. All family members were in their AC rooms in afternoon and nobody was outside ( in kitchen, tv lounge or on rooftop).

I was student for 4 years in LC fromm 1997_2001..all rooms we did study in that building.they left only 1 room it so it feels haunted. Why they cant just demolished it and turninto somw other buildings

Okay so i used to have class of English here as an inter student jn 2012 -13 when first time is was searching for my class i saw this room with students from far when i tried to enter it was this room! Then used to get a lot of nightmare after that and got sick as well. Before that i had no knowledge of this room but once i witness it from the roof which was broken by.that time it was a weird feeling i can still feel weird after all those years

When I was in this college almost 11-12 years ago… we were in shakuntala’s next room and switch of fan was automatically off and we heard the ‘tuck’ sound which was in the end of this episode

I studied here from 2008-2012 and we had classes in this hostel... Ab to shyd puri building block hai... But it was open... We used to go to the washrooms... We had regular classes here... Or ye jo painted sheeshon wala room hai jisko ap pta nahe kya bna rhy hain yaha surraya khanum music ki classes deti rhe hain... And it was painted to keep the privacy... Hm ne buht ulty pngy lye yaha shakuntla ko awazen b deen or pta nahe kya kya nothing ever happened Alhamdulillah.... Esy he bs kahanian bnai hue hain... Or vice chancellor wese e koi bhooton ki dildada lg rhe hain... Kuch nahe hai yaha
