Was in a bad and dark place for a long time (9 years to be exact) and could not come out of it no matter how much I tried. Blamed myself for all the thing that was happening and always doubted if I will ever see the light.
Just this March , I had cut out everyone from life (excluding my best friend who has been my pillar of strength) since I felt all the relationship I had with them for years were all one sided and benefiting them.
Last week Friday, I had successfully registered myself into college and I start classes on July 15th in a whole different state 6 hours away from home. I am definitely at peace as I will be by myself from end of this month and I get to live my life on my own terms and pace.
