I know there’s a lot going on at the minute but I’d like to point out that Pastor Mac’s beard is awesome
I pray: God, you know what will happen today, and I don't. Please help me get through this day.
2 Corinthians 4:
8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
I must be in the advanced class because when things are going "good" i cry "HELP" and when things are seemingly hard, same prayer "HELP"
I pray the Father "HELPS" everyone here. 😃
Hold Jesus close!
Your sermons are such a blessing to those who are totally worn out, weary and hurting. Thank you for all you do. Been watching for years and these videos are keeping me grounded until we go home, hopefully any day now!

_I'm really encouraged when I'm brought to weeping during a sermon because that tells me two things. 1) Holy Spirit dwells in me and 2) He's ministering to my brokenness that I'm still in God's will. Maranatha_

It is so true how prayers change in the good times to the bad times. I never realized that fact until I heard this sermon. Thank you.

Excellent presentation of Smyrna! Thank you Pastor JD! Very helpful 7 ways to navigate persecutions we are/will face. Polycarp's quote touched and inspired me a lot as you are to me as well JD. I pray that I'll also be counted among those worthy of martydom and not bow. So help me God...🙏

Sunday at work I bought a *God's Path Compass."
Today I see Pastor JD Farag"Navigating Persecution" the compass I bought on Sunday and the message given on Sunday.... God's Path for me. Abject Poverty, Persecution, to refine me, Daniel 11:32I was also given this morning!
Those who know their God shall be strong and do great exploits .
Later on in the chapter "Daniel 11:35 in the Bible says, "And some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed".
God's compass for my life confirmation by this message.
This sermon was such an answer to prayer. The battle is very intense.

JD, I have a question regarding personal suffering that one has required to endure. I’m referring to the type of physical suffering with health issues. Is this suffering included in the context of what this sermon refers to? I know that God allows us to endure suffering so that His purposes for His glory and our good are a part of explaining the why. I just don’t fully understand the reasons and wanted to inquire if this is a part of the persecution that Rev. 2:8-10 refers to? Thank you for your service and conviction to God in sharing His truth in His word.❤
Health, death, relational issues, job loss, natural catastrophe's ,etc. are all part of living in this world. As believers we,usually, are able to endure all this. However, persecution of Christians is different.
In Iran,( and other Moslem countries) for example, confessing to be a Christian usually gets you killed or put in prison.
I'm not JD🙂,but perhaps i may comment? I'm just someone who suffered from health issues my whole life, bedridden now for 11 years. I think all human suffering can change in suffering for Christ when you have choices to make for Christ which make your suffering more intense or longer or loose loved ones because of your faith in Jesus . You also can be attacked and tempted in different ways while suffering 'normal' human issues. For a christian there is always a spiritual battle, and human suffering can be a part of that. Look at Job, his suffering was human, but he was attacked by satan, satan used all kinds of things to attack Job, even his friends. Look at Peter, when he betrayded Jesus. 2 tim 3:12 says: Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. The problem is we often don't reconize the spiritual battle behind it when we life in western countries. (sorry for my english, not my native language)
