Amazing as always Patrick. I genuinely watch your channel to get myself hyped up to play bass. And I'll always have a soft spot for when you play dirty tones with a pick. Thanks for always being an inspiration and delivering great content.
Two Notes did tube preamp pedals before they did cab sims,- Le Clean ( Fender type) , Le Crunch ( Marshall style), Le Lead ( modern day rhythm and lead tones - modern metal style) and finally Le Bass ( two channel tube bass preamp ),- all of this before they ever did Torpedo or Capture. Now the Revolt for Bass and a Revolt for guitar. It´s awesome pedals,- and if you´re in the market for actual tube preamp pedals they´re all worth looking into including the cab sims.
You are a little wrong on your timeline, the first Torpedo product was the VB-101 in 2008, it was a loadbox with dyn IR and the preamp pedals that came out on 2015. Two notes were pioneers in the IR game long before making tube pedals. I do love everything they make, an amazing company.
Great video Patrick! I wish they would have made it switchable so one can use two gain/master settings of the Vintage Dirt channel (kind of like the Tech21 SH-1) instead of the Vintage Dirt and Modern Modern drive channel. The "Vintage Dirt" channel is definitely the highlight of this unit. Or even better, Two Notes just releases the Vintage Dirt channel on it's own as a single channel pedal.
With a good compressor on the box, it would be an unbeatable pedal. In terms of featuring only Darkglass Microtubes X with its low pass break signal, offers something that make me question about what of this two pedals should be better for me.
Hey....I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself: I started a bass channel back in April and your approach to demoing basses and gear has been a huge influence on my personal approach ( I just don't do it as well lol). Thanks for doing what you do
Am I the only one who’s got a keen eye on that Bass VI hanging on the wall behind him?
I believe it already has a demo on thomann's channel.
Yes. You’re the only one. Lol

Thank you! This is one of the options I've been actively researching to replace my MXR Bass DI+.
Great review Patrick. Thanks for sharing with us.
Just got this pedal, it kicks ass, simple to use, big sound great low end when you kick in the drive.
Awesome effect! Great playing and always enjoy your videos

@@brianaaland5263also, I’ve owned a Torpedo CAB before any preamp came to the market.
Wish it was smaller with the two good channels.
The Green Machine. Damn that bass sounds good.

Is this good at live events. Like can this be loud in a 4x10 cab
???
That Sterling sounds great!
The exposed tube is a cool touch
This sounds so sick.
I share your enthusiasm for the wet/dry knob!!
Is the Ric yours now or do you have to give it back?
I think I've never been this early! Love the dirty sounds it can make
Okay..... that was pretty awesome!
The dry/wet blend is only for the modern drive channel.. It is not shared with the dirt channel

Man you got all the bass sounds covered! It would be cool if you added EB-3 to mix!

Love your videos!
This might become a need for me. 😆
Some speaker sound good even in peak tested sound clear
Can you stack these 3 channels or is it 1 at a time
You cannot blend the 3 channels.
You can blend channels with its predecessor the Le bass.
Ooohh. Do I wanna replaced my Sansamp BDDI? Damn.
Yes and with the Bass Butler.
@@jayfoghino5392 Absolutely not.
@@jacoobyslaps Your right. I am back to my BDDI. LOL
