Father Dave, please say a healing prayer for me, I have ALS, I am declining rapidly and I am scared, I will be having a Catholic Priest come to my home to pray with me, hear my long overdue confession, give me the Eucharist of healing, holy communion and last rites 🙏
The Gospel started today with the words "Do not let your hearts be troubled".
On May 2nd I buried my only brother.💔
This was the hymn which was sung during his funeral Mass during Holy Communion.
Thank you for reminding me that I will see my beloved brother again one day.❤

Just a suggestion....How about spread the news of Father Dave's wonderful masses....I have been telling others, and sending links to his mass....Father Dave has made church fun, interesting, but most of all spiritually enlightening....We are here to spread the word, just as he is!....Like a random act of kindness, you never know where the ripple might lead....And you never know how your introduction to Father Dave might change someone's life...I know my sister got me hooked, and Father Dave has changed my life and my relationship to Jesus.... I agree, and I share his mass as well. I learned about his mass from my sister, who shared it with me and well. There are so many other masses here on TH-cam I find no other one as meaningful and heartfelt, and that I can connect with as much as this one with father, Dave! I wish I could go to his mass every Sunday, but I am so thankful that he is here to help everyone of us. He is a true man of God and God is definitely called him for us.

I don’t find a pleasing relationship of God from reading the Bible. I find condemnation, fear, and always being told I am not enough. I am 71 years old and am going through the St. Ignatius Spiritual program trying to find a deeper relationship with Jesus. The Bible makes me feel like a terrible person. I know Jesus came to take away our sins. I have been taught that he is a friend. But I continue to lack being able to experience Him as a personal friend.
Hearing Jesus in todays gospel explain to the apostle about seeing the Father in Him, just makes me feel bad about myself. Even some of the apostles were lost at making sense of His words.
I also wonder why in the mass we say, “Have mercy on us”. That says to me that He may not have mercy on us. Yet we are taught that God is merciful. Why aren’t we saying, “Thank you for your mercy”.
Why in The Lord’s Prayer, do we say “and lead us not into temptation”, when God wouldn’t lead us to sin?
I find organized religion and the Bible good at producing guilt. Maybe the thought is people will change if they feel guilty.
Please pray for Texas. There was a mass shooting just 4.9 miles from my house yesterday in Allen Texas, 9 people were slaughtered as they went shopping with their family. GOD SAVE US FROM THIS EVIL THAT IS UPON THE EARTH

I'm 68 years old and i have never been so exited to see what next Sunday brings. Thank you Father Dave for making church both enlightening and FUN! Spread the word of hope and salvation. I nominate you for Pope.
You mentioned that Jesus is always with us and will lead us to him. I was with my grandmother as she was dying. I walked into her room and she was sitting on the edge of the bed and was more alert than she was in several days. She was very happy and chipper and said that she was talking to Jesus. She pointed to the ceiling and said, "He is right there, can't you see him?" She then said that she is no longer afraid to die. She said Jesus is there waiting for her and all her deceased loved ones were with Jesus waiting for her. She then laid back in bed and close her eyes. She never spoke again and she passed a few hours later. It was comforting to know that Jesus will be waiting for us.

Mass is where Heaven and Earth meet. It makes sense that we feel closer to our loved ones who have gone 'beyond the veil' there. What a gift!

Your homily reminded me of when I walked the Camino de Santiago and the belief among the older generation of Spaniards is that Jesus walks The Camino, therefore they are friendly and giving to all pilgrims because they do not know in whom Jesus will be disguised. Great mass as usual, Father Dave! Thank you for continuing to do this mass for those who cannot get to church and for those of us who are ill. Please pray for my son, Wesley Day, who is extremely ill, and feels like he has nothing positive in his and no purpose. He has been ill since he was 14 years old and at the age of 31 years old. He feels like his life is over. It seems that every time he gets over one illness one or two or three or four more come about. I wish we could get all the doctors together in one place and get him diagnosed and on the right path for his health but they don’t seem to do that anymore. He needs to be in the hospital but they don’t seem to do that anymore. Please pray for his strength, his recovery, his faith, which is more profound now than ever and that he’s delivered from all evil. His father has no compassion and is not there for him and has never been there for him yet he is a “Christian”. I ask this of you or Lord! ….and I ask this of everyone of you to here pray for my son. ✝️✝️✝️✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏

Father Dave, I truly had to ask the holy spirit to guide me today because I had the urge to finish my game and be a part of an important part of the game. I put the Mass on pause😢 and I went into the game and did what I had to do even though it did not last not even 5 minutes. I sinned through Mass 😢
I ask the holy spirit in Jesus to forgive me before I begin to finish watching the mass. I told the devil to stay away from me and that I did not want him in my life and I ask the holy Spirit to be in my home and in need and not to take my mind away from Jesus. I truly am sorry and I will say my rosary tonight because I of this and I will say the rosary every night as I do every night but I will do extra by reading the Bible
Please forgive me Lord Jesus my Savior. I love you and I need you in my life more than because I find that I am taking away from the online mass and watch it the next day!! I will truly remind myself as soon as I get up on a Sunday to watch Mass with you, Father Dave. Thank you for inspiring me and I did listen to all of the mess I paused it though. This mass meant more to me then I could have ever imagine. I just lost my grandfather who raised me . Thank you for keeping our faith alive and for being accessible for those who are grieving or struggling.
God bless you Evelin. God give peace and rest to your grandfather. Jesus said, "Blessed are you who mourn, you shall be comforted." May you notice the signs God sends to comfort you and let you know that your grandfather is with Him and with you. I find the passage from Hebrews helps me, "we are surrounded by the unseen cloud of witnesses"

What great analogies this week, Father Dave - 2 of my favourites - Charlie Brown n Lord of the Rings!!! An excellent sermon reminding me of Jesus saying to the Apostles n the Blessed Mother n Mary Magdalen, " Remember, I am always with you!!" That is one of my favourite lines ever from Lord Jesus!! Thank you for this excellent reminder!!!

Thank you for this on-line ministry. Your homily touched me deeply today. I have been reading the scriptures each day during Lent and the Easter season (The Little White Book). They have been talking about the Eucharist this week and I could feel God calling me to go to Church in person to receive the Eucharist. So that is what I did. Prayers for you, Jess, and Diane and a belly rub for Cragly!
I understand about being called into Church! I have two Special Needs children that are little children (mentally) in adult bodies so it's difficult to get to church--especially if one refuses to go. And then they can act up during Mass so easier to watch online or T.V.. I felt the "need" to go into Church and that's when I'd read in the weekly bulitin that they were helping people to receive a Catholic Annulment. I went to the meeting, interviewed and had family/friends fill out the necessary paperwork. The Annulment is a gift from God! I now have peace.

I had to let my best friend go only a few weeks ago. Your Snoopy analogy was absolutely on point. His nickname (of many) was “The King of Kings.” He truly was Christ walking with me.

I feel closer to God now since I have watched mass with you and listening to all you have to say in such a clear way. I have a question for Diane. I see her wearing what seems to be an unusual gold cross. I have one that looks similar that belonged to my mother. In lieu of rings her high school graduation class received them. Hers was from Notre Dame Academy in Boston, MA. I am wondering if Diane's might be the same?
