Running the Raymond Swing reach lift truck

- A short crappy video of me doing my job... Still kinda new at the swing reach, and the one I run is very old and crappy, so it doesn't operate smoothly no matter how hard you try... Couple that with idiot receivers who don't know how to stack pallets makes me job hell sometimes. Sorry for the picture quality, lighting isn't the greatest even with all the lights on.
And for those of you who noticed the frequent horn beeping, We are required by company policy to sound the horn ANY time we do anything with our trucks (Order pickers, Swing reach, Walkie riders, etc) and that day we had company, so I was watching my Ps and Qs.
Don't make fun of my shit driving, Like I said... Still fairly new and there is NO room for error in the mezz with this truck.

my factory has one of these and supposedly I can get trained to operate one of these. Crazy looking machine lmao.
They are pretty weird looking, but fun to drive. I was still fairly new at the time of those video so I was slow as hell. I got better over time - sadly, I no longer work for that warehouse
I've never driven any machines before and I got trained for the swing reach a month ago..I really enjoy it..only took a day to get the hang of the controls...it just naturally comes somehow..you don't even realize you're doing it..you just do it,if that makes sense
Feels like an adventure.
Great for optomizing warehouse space, but that is one strange forklift :p
It's called a Swing reach lol, They are meant for narrow-aisles / mezzanines.
That pallet should've never made it up to those heights first off because that bottom level box was crushed only leading to a collapse and everyone knows you can't hear anything falling...💯
I told the soup, they told me to lift that it didn't matter. It sat up there for 5 months being picked from and never fell, guess we got lucky. After that we started restacking and wrapping tighter.

1:54 Has anyone had the thought of zombies running at you in one of these jobs? Especially at that moment lifting that pallet and fearing seeing zombies run at tou from end of isle. Lol

I'll take it you not allowed to blend movements because you can save a lot of time as you're coming down swinging the forks around so that you move straight into the pallet.
You can lower the mast and swing the forks at the same time..but forks won't swing if you're moving forward at a fast pace..I can creep with this model and swing the forks though...I guess it's a safety feature of some sort
