The lord wolf is known for building massive castles in the crusader game. Not only he successfully builds huge fortresses, but he also manages his economy very well, which makes him a very powerful AI lord. He is also quite smart on one side he uses lot of fear factors to increase the efficiency of the workforce and on the other, he uses ale and inns to compensate for the fear factors to balance the economy. Apart from building the massive fortress, he also defends his castle very well, He loves using the crossbowmen and pikemen, and he also uses Arabian archers, horse archers, and swordsmen.
Do you know depending on the location and opponent's wolf changes the type of his castle. In this video, I will show how wolf builds these 12 different shapes of castles. 1-8 are the vanilla or classical castles and 9-12 are from Pilaw nonofficial crusader patch.

The castles (1-8) are available in vanilla or classical crusader game. I am using the crusader patch by github.com/CrusaderPilaw which can be used to recreate advanced-level (9-12) castles.
The unofficial crusader patch can be downloaded from github.com/UnofficialCrusader... where you can increase the game speed above 90 and have a lot of other AIV and AIC like by Evrey, Tatha, Kimberly, Krarilotus and Xander10alpha etc.

I don't know why lords have so many castles but only use like 3 of them
I think they usually change in custom matches. Castle choice is usually based on available space and the opponents I suppose.
And maybe starting gold too
The biggest flaw in many of his designs is the fact that they only have one single exit. It's inconvenient for his economy AND easy to blockade for enemies.
Yes, you are right. There should be more than 1 gate.
If you want to use my AIVs (or in general my content) you are free to do so. My pack is free after all. But it should be absolutely basic to link the creator. You present these castles like they would be part of the original game, never mentioning where you got them from. That's pretty saucy. ^^

@@mm0private578 Just download and install UCP from github.com/CrusaderPilaw replace aiv and aic files to have modified castles and characters, respectively.

many of those castles i have never seen :O i would like to see championships where players makes their own castles with buildings limit (like max 50buildings maximum 500 stone per castle) and bots are fighting in castle that u have made :D that would be fkn great

He spends all of his starting money on stones, rather than on the army or weapons lol. That's why his first attack is quite late.
@@stronghold_crusader no it's not. Wolf (maybe all Ai/computer) can make castle without stone, it's not like fast sell and buy stone from market. if you want proof, just set Wolf into map without stone and with big space
@WolfZet I found out that AI cheat their castle walls (building without stones) not sure about the towers tho. Will definitely test that out.
with that amount of gold and stone needed to be build his castle, I bet it would be a nightmare if he have a very close enemy who likes to set buidling on fire (like Snake or Calph) with a few golds.
Mostly, AI cheats in building castles walls. Without gold or stones, they can build. So, no worries for him there. Once it is complete, it's not easy to penetrate his castle. Also, fire does not reach that far enough into the castle. Let's see if I put one wolf againt 2 or 3 calphs or snakes.
there are only 8 castle shapes per character, everythig else is added onto the game from outside. Don't let him fool you guys. Also if you include modded castles, where are the modded castles i made?

Where can I get a mod that let's me change my color properly? I have been using some that are buggy and color changes messy and partially sometimes
I am not sure, sometimes happens to me too like color changes or constant flickering of the taskbar.
How do you make weapon workshops texture look like these from Stronghold HD? new UCP feature or you manually change files?

How did you make that bots make more than 8 castle? Which file you modded? Because, in typical ucp patch if you name castle like wolf9, game didn't see that aiv
How is castle 2 strong? No weapon/armor industry...
This castle has 5 weapon workshops including the armourer. So I think its quite strong.
there are more types of wolf castles
In classical game there are 8 and others u can add by installing various game patches.

Pilaw makes great content on TH-cam and he made good castles for the Wolf. They blend Into vanilla verry well.
