Great, you helped me identify the file that failed to download. The file had the rar extension, but it was changed to another format and its writing was strange ❤
crdownload is not only with unfinished downloads. I 'm trying to download an exe installer and it becomes crdownload - so one cannot proceed to install it. It's my program actually so I did this: I made it into rar, reuploaded it to mediafire and then downloaded from the new download link. Now it works. I click "Extract here"and I have my exe file. This crdownload error does n't happen at all in my machine (downloads ok without using the rar) but it happens in two other machines we have here. At this hour I don't know what happens if I try from edge as I don't have access to the other pcs.

I have tried the standard Google search topics: Please go into the Registry to enable DDE fully or, better: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Word\Security Create or use the key AllowDDE a DWORD value: 0: Disables DDE 1: Allows DDE requests but only to an already running program. DDE can’t launch another executable program. 2: Fully allow DDE requests. Along with editing the Excel trusted features so sort of at a loss right now.

you can rename the extension to png and open it (only for images)

I got this file from downloading a png. The problem is that the png completely downloaded and worked, but gave me a crdownload duplicate.

In downloads folder or wherever you save files. Sounds like you deleted it.
