I'm just a few years younger and like Mr Colbert I've carried a torch for Ms Hunt, for several years. This just makes Her a Goddess.
I’ve seen the film *Candy Jar* and Helen is great in it. Also, the film overall is wonderful, without being predictable or sappy, like most films about high school kids tend to be. I streamed it last week and enjoyed it a lot. I recommend.
The only thing I can think is that she's had a facelift. And I'm really kind of bummed. I loved her face and I thought she was one of the few actresses in Hollywood that was going to age naturally
So she doesn't look like she did in the nineties... Who the hell does?! She is still a very beautiful lady, because not only does she still look good, her intelligence and sense of humour make her attractive in ways you cannot see in a glamour shot. Helen Hunt is still hot!

When she played the daughter, she was playing a character a little younger than her actual age and Helen Hunt and Paul Riser were using makeup to look as old as they really are now. I think Garaffalo would make a nice cameo, but I don't think she could realistically play Mabel at her age now.

As someone close to her age, I can attest that she just lost what we all do... Collagen and facial fat. It starts in your 40's. The skin also thins as the collagen diminishes. She may have had lasar work, but I don't see a face lift; just loss of fat and collagen.
Her performance in _As Good As It Gets_ is still one of my favorites. So real and emotionally rich.
